杉木住宿加早餐旅館(Firwood Lodge)

Second year in a row we go there for his birthday, restaurant are walking distance and we love Forwood lodge , we will definitely see you next year. Swimming pool area was always clean and staff as well

We were fortunate to spend two nights at your 4 star Firwood Lodge recently and would like to compliment you on a hearty breakfast we had as well as the lovely decor of unit 9 . However on a negative note late evening we discovered that both bed sheets and pillow cases were badly torn but were replaced the next morning after reporting the problem . We think this unbecoming of a 4 star establishment and that the housekeeping manager / staff should be made aware of these short comings for the future . This message was forwarded to the 0wner and CEO of Firwood Lodge together with photos of the mentioned problem on 22 November2023 to which we have had no response to date .

it was clean , definitely no problem, the shower due to the retention of moisture , there is mould on the ceiling. other than that its was a great room.

On arrival staff was not ready…. looking for room keys and not very friendly. During our stay Lodge was busy with renovations. We hope to see a new fresh look in rooms when we visit again. Linen and towels need to be replaced. Excellent location and walking distance of all the restaurants. Overall average stay.

We are a group of 18 people travelling to South Africa for research. We made a reservation through email with Firwood Lodge and got a confirmation for our booking without paying a deposit. We were told by email that a deposit would not be needed at this point, we could simply pay upon arrival. One night before the arrival I contacted the hotel via email to let them know about our time of arrival and make sure everything is okay. I was informed by a single sentence email that there is no booking in my name and that I should call the next morning because it was already too late at night to talk on the phone (!) We were not given any alternatives for accommodation in a city that is NOT SAFE for foreigners and for such a big group of people who could not easily find a place to stay, or even an apology! The situation was very stressful for us and we want future guests to know that the front office management is not working as it should. We are very disappointed by this hotel and the way they treated us after this incident.

Loved staying there will definitely go again. The rooms are great , parking was no problem and we walked to our dinner reservation. Absolutely beautiful area and overall a good experience . The breakfast the next day was divine.

Friendly staff, premise clean and neat. Rooms a little on the small size but was comfortable, good breakfast, located close to restaurants and area has a festive vibe throughout the day and into the evening.

The executive room as booked was unserviced upon arrival. The pool area was dirty, no coffee, milk etc, and remained dirty after previous night use. Staff helpfull but place need upgrade maintenance...rating only 1 star.
