I truly regret my stay there, I wished I could have chosen a better place as I didn’t know I was going to be so disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to there. When you book at a hotel you need to be at a peaceful place but there was a lot of noise due to the renovation and the staff doesn’t even make you aware of such, I had my meetings on teams and they couldn’t hear the background noise from the renovations, the food was very very bad.

On arrival we were told all sorts of stories that didn’t make sense to convince us that we are not allowed to view the room before paying for it. Eventually booked it. Realised after buying food that the place doesn’t have a fridge. Shocker for me as hotels always have bar fridges especially in this hot weather. The whole night the router extender is on which was very straining to our eyes. After battling and trying to cover our faces with pillows, i called receptionist and he told me there is nothing he can do other than informing management in the morning. We had to then start bathing because there was no point tossing and turning. We were only supplied with 1 bathing towel, called receptionist and additional towel was promised but never supplied until we left. Up to now no one called to follow up my concern or show some sort of empathy for the terrible night we had, I guess it’s life as usual right. Oh please clean your windows not an ideal welcome especially in the morning when you have to open the curtains, not pleasant at all.

Housekeeping staff was knocking at my room from 8 o'clock in the morning while policy states clearly that checking out is from 6am -11am. They disturbed my sleep three times. Wanted to buy a bottle of wine called Beyerskloof pinatoge and they were selling it for R310, I felt that was a ridiculous price

people knocking on doors at 3 am and hearing noises that could be of someone trying to open my door We felt very unsafe that is why we had to unexpectedly leave the booked accommodation a day earlier than it was expected
