緬因門林首都飯店(The Capital Menlyn Maine)

My first hotel experience in Southafrica, other one being a more an organized service apartment. Capital is to be a 5 star, I observed a few things odd. 1. Very limited toiletries, I have to carry my own conditioner / shampoo which we assume is standard. There was a bottle of conditioning shampoo but could hardly do a conditioner job 2. I found cockroaches in the room, odd for a 5 star. 3. Restaurant has not much veggies at all. 4. What I observed odd is 5 days I had breakfast here. First two days the eggs I asked for never came. Then I had ti insist and got a service. One of the days I had a colleague with me who just sat along, this is the only time the steward came up offering a coffee / tea etc. that was odd as they never did offer me coffee at all any other days. My colleague is a white person and I am brown, what surprises is that all the staff are black. Interesting 5. No travel desk/ concierge so I had to manage my own airport limousine coordination. Worse still they were to turn away when the car turned up as my name was long to check out. Really !! I don’t plan to comeback to this place for my next visit for sure. But, this place or the country in general has such helping people always ready to help. A strong positive.

Perfect hotel in the ideal location. Everything is within walking distance and you have a choice of restaurants right at your doorstep. Loved the decor of the hotel as well as all the interesting art pieces that are placed all over. Gives the hotel a unique feel. The reception staff were also really friendly and helpful and constantly smiling.

It was a good 1 night stay with excellent breakfast. No fuss 5th floor room overlooking the main hotel entrance. Booking in was quick and relatively easy. Basement parking was sufficient and easy to access Breakfast spread was good Access to the Sun arena was a walk and convenient Checking out was

Finishing up my fourth business stay with them (averaging about 4-5 nights each stay). Really appreciate the consistent high quality of this hotel. Unobtrusive and professional efficiency at its best. Special mention to the very comfortable mattresses and clean linen (I’m very particular about my bed), clean rooms and extremely friendly and professional staff. I’ll keep coming back as long as I need to be in Pretoria for business.

Fantastic for pleasure or buisness. The room had space, comfort and was exceptionally clean. The hotel has a great location and perfect fercilities. the gym could have another treadmil as people were waiting in line. overall super satisfied

I loved the rooms, WiFi, attendants, and ambience. Great facilities for conferences too. The gym is well equipped but could do with a little more space. The food at the restaurant is authentic and fresh

Perfectly fine hotel. The restaurants nearby are a convenient and good. There are just as good hotels in Pretoria for half the price. The lighting in the bathroom was poor.

Everything was excellent! Location, hotel, staff, food and kindness. Can’t wait to Come back!!

Si vous n'avez besoin de rien, vous pouvez demander a la reception.... Obliger de rappeler 5 ou 6 fois avant d'obtenir une suite a la demande. Chambres bon standing, hotel impersonel.. Bref je ne recommande pas
