SureStay Hotel by Best Western Presque Isle

Guests in other rooms were noisy, kept doors propped open and were yelling from room to room. There was also cooking with electric pots on the carpeted floor again with doors propped open. The hallway smelled of rotten food because of this. Hotel staff didn't appear to care and after a complaint was lodged simply sprayed scented deodorizer in the hallway. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Bathroom was tiny and the shower drained very slowly-so standing in a few inches of water for your shower. No elevator, so lugging bags upstairs was a must. Beds were nice and comfortable, pillows were also nice. Staff was courteous. Never tried breakfast so cannot comment.

I was told they don't change sheets or even clean rooms after every night ? called front desk and had to go get more towels because they don't restock rooms with fresh ones ?

Got there and had a very difficult time communicating with front desk person. Got in room it smelled like cigarettes in a non smoking room. Dished in dishwasher dirty with stuck on food.

The stay was good. Thier was complimentary breakfast in the morning. And the stay was reasonably priced. Room was clean and they allowed pets. Would stay here again.

Everything was great except we didn't feel welcomed in. The hostess didn't seem to speak much English or know social expectations for this area. Any time we talked to her it was very short conversations. People from this area are overly friendly and like to talk and be personable to each guest with big smiles. I feel like there was a cultural block. That's my only piece of criticism. Everything was perfect especially breakfast!!! Will for sure be staying again soon. I found it to be super that we seen children quietly playing in the hallway. There's a lot of kids nowadays that are causing issues/trouble but not these kids! Need more kids like that with manners! Loved our stay for sure!
