A very well manage facilities. My room was clean and simple with all necessary and good quality equipment required for one week stay. We liked that there was no carpet on the floor which seems to be hotels standard. A nice Austrian style restaurant and bakery are is located within 1 minute walk distance from the hotel. A medium size grocery store is located in 10 min walk. Bike and hiking trails are the features of the area. The historic town of Murau, which is 10 minutes drive from the hotel, has a few historic sites and quite a lot coffee shops and restaurants. The food is excellent and service is great.

Awful experience. The hotel didn't give us the room that we booked and paid for. Tried to negotiate multiple times with worse and worse conditions (for us). Eventually offered a "free dinner, everything included" where we ended up having to pay for the drinks - we only learned about this during our checkout.

I must start by saying that food is surprisingly good, fresh, tasty and staff is super kind. Ski slopes are walking distance unless the last houses (like no.5). This is about all the positive side. There is literally no noise cancellation, you wake up at night to other children’s screaming, and all. We did not sleep through one night throughout our stay which is very frustrating when the kids have ski school the next day. Loud noises like heavy falls are present throughout the night. The beds are very uncomfortable, and so are the pillows. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty with previous guest’s hairs and the carpet smelled like vomit. The whole house smells like terrible fried oil day and night, our ski gear goes to the cleaner right away. Won’t be returning, if you want to rest, you shouldn’t either.

This is the perfect place if you are into winter sports, as the ski lifts are within a 5-minute walk. The apartments are spacious and cosy, and extremely quiet. You can wind off in the wellness section after a day out, and if you come with children they'll surely enjoy the playing room just next to the wellness section.

Die Ankage liegt sehr gut und man kann viel unternehmen, auch im Sommer. Wandern und Radfahren ist hier kein Problem. Eine Bäckerei liegt gleich um die Ecke. Man kann auch mit der Murtalbahn fahren und braucht nicht sein Auto bewegen.

We stayed a week at this property. There are nearby restaurants with local cuisine, many hiking trails, bike paths, golf courses, and a narrow gage train line has a nearby stop. The rooms are of good size with balconies, and nice bathrooms. Our room had a kitchenette with two burners, a small refrigerator, and some appliances. There were only two wine glasses and two small glasses, but several cups and saucers, and two large glass cups that worked well for hot chocolate and tea. This should be a very good winter location as the ski slope is very close. On the downside, the hotel is advertized as having high speed internet. Internet service was abysmal, often dropping connections or not being available. When complaining to the staff, they blamed the problem on the internet provider. We noted the connection was most problematic when many people had returned to the hotel from the day's activities. It was possible to connect using wifi with a reasonably strong connection if in the lobby most of the time. The best connection time was 03:00. If needing to communicate for business, this is not the place to hope to have a stable connection. While the facility is non-smoking, people did smoke on the balconies, and we would have second-hand smoke coming into our room if the windows were open.
