"I had always love staying in Accruase Paradise for the past 5 years. My last stay this 2025 was very unpleasant! Breakfast and customer service was very very poor. During breakfast, no water or juice was provided and when I inquired, I was informed that water had to be ordered separately. In my opinion, water should be included with meals as a basic courtesy and safety measure, especially since someone could easily choke without access to water. My daughter didn’t finished her food because the bread was dried and she had to eat it without water. The next morning we woke up to find a pool of water just outside our door. We had to walk through it in order to access the down stairs for our breakfast, which was quite inconvenient. On our second day in the afternoon, there was construction work taking place near our room, and we had to crawl on our knees to access our room due to obstructed walkways. During the evening, construction was still ongoing, and we were unable to access our room to take shower or even change our clothes after a lot day. I’ve always enjoyed staying at Accruase Residence and have even spoken highly of it to others, including my family. When I complained to management I was told I was entitled to 2 bottles a day which I never received any. Unfortunately, their experience has been less than satisfactory. I will not stay at this place again and will not recommend this place again. I have already complained to them and provided feedback in the hope that it will contribute to improving guest experiences in the future for future guests ."

"This is a very rustic and relaxed place with a laid-back vibe. Don’t expect a full-service resort experience — the bar has limited options and not everything is available, but that fits with the overall atmosphere. We didn’t get the room we thought we’d booked, but the room we had was still lovely. The bed was on the hard side but comfortable and suited us well; we slept well apart from being woken during the night by the wildlife. The pool is lovely, with big, clean towels provided. The beach nearby is nice, but there’s no direct access to the sea. Sea access is a little further along at a beautiful small beach, unfortunately completely covered in rubbish, which is such a shame but normal for Ghana unfortunately. Staff were friendly and well-meaning but sometimes seemed unsure what to do and would benefit from clearer direction. The vibe is very relaxed but definitely not quiet. There was constant loud music from several sources — rap music around the pool and other loud music starting from around 8am. Looking at social media this does seem to be part of their identity, so if you’re looking for peace, quiet, and the sound of the ocean, this probably isn’t the place. Breakfast was ok. The omelette was nice; there were other payable options. We did enjoy a lovely cup of tea (with UHT milk). Dinner was very good — the jollof rice with chicken was particularly tasty. Palm trees obstruct some of the views, but this didn’t bother me. Toiletries were very basic — no shampoo, just bar soap and a liquid soap. There’s a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee provided, and there’s no shop nearby, so bring anything you might need. Arrival into Accra was easy, with a bureau de change and ATM available, though luggage took an inordinately long time. Getting to Prampram was more awkward: you have to select cash on uber and bolt. Uber drivers repeatedly cancelled, and one Bolt driver eventually took us in a car that was in very poor condition, complaining about the distance. In hindsight, if arriving late in the day it’s probably worth paying extra to pre-book a transfer through the hotel. At other times, we’re told Uber is usually straightforward. Overall, a pleasant stay if you’re after something informal and lively. Probably on the expensive side for what it is."
