Safestay Prague Charles Bridge

Hice una reservacion por una app de hoteles y me la confirmaron vía correo, después me enviaron otro correo avisando que no pudieron cobrarme, les respondí inmediatamente ya que entiendo el tema de las garantías, donde ya había aceptado el cargo que reintentaran y sino les pagaba al check in. Al día siguiente cuando llego a la propiedad me dicen que mi reservacion estaba cancelada, pero no me habían notificado nada, a lo que me responden ya se lo enviamos ahir a ouede checarlos, me pareció inapropiado, pregunte si tenían disponibilidad, me dijeron que casualmente se acaban de extender 2 personas y que no tenían, pedí hablar con un gerente no me lo quisieron traer, porque decían que uno de ellos era, pero alguien que te dice NO hay opciones no ouede ser un gerente. Así que ya después de que nos hacen enojar nos dicen que siempre si tienen disponible pero que tengo que pagar más, no nos pareció por suerte nos quedamos a la vuelta al AHOY, este si tiene un servicio de primera.

The hotel is conviently located except only towards the last bit where you have to walk through small alleys. However we checked in late at night and were met by the worst staff who yelled at us and was disrespectful, mannerless and did not know what hospitality means. She yelled at me saying i have not checked my email where she sent details regarding online check in and was jot ready to listen that there was no link in the email which i could have used to online check in. She sent an email again while we were at reception and told us to check in online. Again the email did not have any links. Apparently she was lazy enough that she did not herself want to actually work and check us in. I have read previous similar reviews about the same lady here but i guess the hotel owners do not care

They charged my card twice. Once with the amount shown online while booking and once with a random 30€ charge for which there was no reasoning or invoice. Tried checking over phone and mail. No response. Ended up going to stay and before checking in, asked and first standard response was it was city tax. After pointing out in government websites that city tax is 2€ per adult. Then they agreed it was a mistake and promised a refund. Rude guy btw in the counter. Overnight saw the manager lady. Polite but seemed cunning and she promised it was a mistake and a refund will be processed within 5 days. Been more than a month and no refunds and conveniently now no contact possible over phone or mail. I wasn’t the only one. Had a few more complaining customers waiting in the lobby while I was there. Now the rooms, basic rooms without any expected facilities what they charge. I mean, I have stayed in business hotels in the center of Munich for less. For such a place in that part of Prague, I wouldn’t pay half of that and yet I paid so much for just a bed and private bathroom. Top it off, a elevator that doesn’t work and room in 2nd floor with old parents having to take the steps all the way up. A great start to our vacation. NOT.

We arrived, the computer system didn't work. After some long waiting time we could finally get checked in and helped. They charged the money from my credit card but this didn't went through the first minute. Then I had to pay with my card at the desk. I paid but suddenly my credit card is charged as well. I go back and show them everything (i can prove the money got taken from my account twice) and they would sort it out. We stayed for 4 days and after those days still no help. They promised me to get the money back in a few days. After 2 weeks i sent them en email and no response. Then I called them and they promised me (again) they would fix it. Now I'm 2 months later and 3 calls, 4 emails are unanswered. For me this is my worst experience ever with a hostel in my life. DON'T GO THERE, they will rip you off sadly enough!

Camera, piccola, essenziale, ma pulita. Perfetta per un breve soggiorno. Ottima posizione, vicina al centro ma lontana dalla confusione. Staff gentile e disponibile, vicina alla metropolitana ed al tram

A causa di alcuni problemi, purtroppo, non ho potuto alloggiare presso questa bellissima struttura. Nonostante tutto lo staff è stato molto cordiale e disponibile e ha saputo offrirmi il miglior aiuto per aiutarmi a risolvere. Lo consiglio e sarà sicuramente la prossima meta su cui punterò. 😃

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja (blisko dworca i najbardziej znanych miejsc stolicy), uprzejmy personel. Dobre miejsce wypadowe do zwiedzania Pragi. Z chęcią wrócimy ponownie. Za tą cenę naprawdę warto. Polecam

Stolen wallet due to no basic security. A homless couple was just staying the night in the common room and apparently grabbed my jacket on the way out. I myself could enter at 3 in the night by just pressing the button on the door. As the lady from the police later said: pretty ironic name...
