Great location & walkable to shops and dining. Given the location, can be loud at night with people outside walking home from bars. Would stay again!

Stayed 1 night after watching a concert in town. We got in early so I texted and asked if we could check in early and they replied right away and said we could, which was super helpful. Beautiful building, nicely appointed. Also very clean!

Truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very welcoming. Super clean and the staff were amazing! We will definitely return.

This hotel was so cute and the room was amazing!!! It was so convenient and easy to get in and out of! They had all the little add ons and things that one would want at a boutique hotel. All the little touches matter to me!!! The environment was great and so well decorated and the whole energy was great! I will be coming again!!

Great hotel - clean, quaint, well located in the heart of Portsmouth - convenient to check in and out, good amenities like coffee etc, friendly staff - would visit again!

Great stay, highly recommend! We also ate at the attached Japanese restaurant Nichinan. Great food, great service, great drinks, we were glad we went.

This a wonderful hotel in a really good location in the heart of cool downtown Portsmouth. Beautifully appointed with several lovely comunal rooms. My room quite comfortable with a sitting area and high quality bed and pillows. Many thoughtful touches - e.g., large bottle of delicious water (sounds silly, but true); swiveling TV with both cable and Roku (info put in to access home streaming services deletes automatically on checkout); actual instructions on how to work the TV so you don't have to spend a half hour figuring it out as in most hotels; keyless front door and room entry if you can remember the last 4 digits of your telephone number (the code) so there is no key to lose. No officious signs threatening arrest if you break any rules (you are politely asked not to steal the glass water bottles, however). Staffers are friendly and helpful. A very well-run and attractive hotel at a very reasonable price.

Very nice hotel in Portsmouth. Convenient self check-in and out. Parking options. Great Japanese restaurant. Good traveler info provided in advance.

I would’ve felt a lot safer with a inside bolt lock on the door, and there were no staff around
