We have just returned from a 3 night stay at No 4 in Portpatrick . All I can say is Outstanding few days away , from when we arrived Simon & Cathy made us feel so at home & welcome, check in so smooth & easy , room was so clean & well decorated, Breakfast was absolutely delicious & to top it all off the sun was shining every day. Great walks from the door and loads of nice places to eat, couldn’t have asked for anything more for a few days away. Thanks Simon & Cath for such a pleasant stay, we will return. Phil & Julie

This is a little gem of a B&B. Wonderful hosts, knowledgeable of the area and recommendations for places to eat. Comfy beds, lovely en-suite, great choice of breakfast. If you get chance, the room looking over the harbour has the best views. this was our 4th stay here and we will be back.

Number 4 Portpatrick is very special indeed. We stayed for 7 nights in July 2024. Cathy and Simon are lovely, on hand to help with anything, but never in your face. Simon makes all the bread (including sourdough) for the extra special breakfasts. There is a large choice and everything is cooked to perfection. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities which are topped up every day. No little plastic cartons of UHT milk here! There is a fridge in the hallway where you can collect your little jug of fresh milk whenever. There is also a plentiful supply of bottled water in the fridge(which can also be used to store any personal items). Yummy homemade biscuits are supplied in the room daily. The en-suite toilet/shower is sparklingly clean, with a very good shower. Hand soap and shower gel is provided. Fluffy hand and bath towels are in the room and changed frequently. Number 4 is 5 Star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, I truly cannot fault it.
