My husband and I have positive yet some reservations regarding the Sea Sight Hotel. Due to circumstances, we unexpectedly needed to stay some extra days in Greece. Port Rafti was the perfect place due to its location – on the waterfront and its proximity to the airport. The hotel is small (10 rooms) and has the feel of a Pension. The staff are very warm and helpful above and beyond what is expected. They had good suggestions where to eat and their English was above what we encountered in other parts of Greece. Our room was spacious and from the terrace we could view the water and the sunset. The hotel was a perfect place to wind down and relax. On the other hand, the up keep of the room was not up to standard –there was a problem closing the bathroom door, a rusty leaky faucet dripped continuously on the terrace, the safe was broken and the cleaning could have been better. Breakfast is included which is a plus however, the breakfast room was more like a cafeteria and little thought was put into what was offered; no variety of bread, or cheese or cold cuts, few vegetables, no fruit (other than warm freshly squeezed orange juice). It's important to note there are many good places to eat close by and a supermarket but no other services within walking distance nor reliable public transportation. Therefore, a car is required. With very little effort, the hotel could elevate its level of accommodation to a real boutique hotel. If you need a hotel for a short time and close to the airport, this hotel would answer that need.
