Where do I start with this incredible little hotel. Might be my all time favorite or all the vacations I have had. The beds were luxurious. The location was second to none. It was literally in the middle of everything. The staff was so accommodating. The breakfast was perfect with everything you could want. It was very quiet. We switched rooms because we got into a car accident and had to stay an extra night and both room were fabulous! The staff suggestions on neighborhoods to see and shops to visit were also perfect. 5 stars about the decor, aesthetics, accommodations, cleanliness, staff, food, location. We will tell everyone we know to stay at the Armazen!

I had a fantastic 2-night stay at this hotel! The pool was refreshing, Sunshine Gallery offered breathtaking natural sights, and the amenities were amazing. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. Highly recommend for a rejuvenating getaway!

A wonderful discovery. a hotel that meets all requirements. its location in the historic district, at the end of a pedestrian street, close to the Louis Bridge, the quays, and the main tourist sites, is a major asset. its past as a former industrial building is evident in its transformation into a luxury hotel residence. the raw concrete walls where the architect deliberately left the imprints of the formwork boards recall this industrial past. the decoration of shared spaces, rest room, corridors, reception is carefully studied. the rooms are decorated in the same way. the room reserved for breakfast lit by a skylight shows how the architect was able to make the most of a space limited in width. a terrace located at the very top of the building gives a nice view of the clergy tower and other monuments. all this would be nothing without the welcome and kindness of the hotel staff, attentive to all requests. a big thank you to the whole team who made this stay in Porto unforgettable. Stayed here with my family (all adults) in August 2023 for a long weekend to celebrate my Mum’s birthday. Everything about the hotel was exceptional, from the warm welcome (with early check in) and detailed orientation of the city to a fantastic daily breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a love of design, looking for a ‘home away from home’ in Porto. Fantastic location as well! Thank you for a gorgeous stay!

This review is of the apartments, we stayed in the largest one at the top. We had a friendly and helpful reception but it went downhill from there. The apartment is not very private (the 2 bedrooms are separate but not with actual walls) and is quite dark. It is not appropriate for families with young children or those who have trouble with stairs. Inside there are several levels and it is a 4-story (5 for Americans) walk-up. It is located up the pedistrian street from the hotel so you have to walk back for breakfast (which is quite good with friendly service). The biggest problem was maintenance...our shower flooded on our last morning and since we had no time to wait for a plumber my husband looked at the drain which had obviously not been cleaned in a good while so he had to it himself to avoid even more flooding! Then, we went to put our luggage in the "luggage only" elevator and it stopped working. They did come to fix but couldn't so we had to carry everything down. Although it is in a pedestrian only street there is a parking garage not too far away. As for location, it is very centrally located for what most want to do. It also seemed a bit crass to have to pay for coffee pods! This place needs some revamping service-wise.

The hotel has a very good aesthetic that made me and my partner very comfortable. The breakfast service is very well organized and the food is excellent. The furniture is very well introduced into the space and makes anyone fall in love with what they see. All the people who welcomed us at the hotel were very friendly and gave us the best possible experience. I recommend it 100% and I will definitely repeat the stay again.
