Hospitality is not a word they are familiar with. I was here long term, 6 months. It never got any better. The management behind the desk smiles and nods their heads. However, they cannot get the staff to do their jobs. Housekeeping is a joke. The staff is rude. They stare at you blankly as they pass you in the hall. They will not greet you no matter what you say. Most of them don’t speak English and don’t try to communicate. They offer breakfast from a dirty kitchen. Part of the kitchen staff wears uniforms and hair protection. The other part comes in shaggy. They are always out of something. It may be plates, napkins, or plastic utensils. Some of the workers try and are extremely frustrated. I heard swearing at high volume coming from the kitchen regularly. The motel is beautiful from the outside and the rooms can be nice. You just can’t get regular services that you would expect from a hotel that is not budget friendly. I had to move rooms for plumbing issues, I waited two weeks to have a running toilet repaired. The laundry room has machines that have never worked properly yet they don’t repair them not mark them out of service. When it’s full the parking lot can be tricky to navigate. It’s not worth it and I don’t recommend it.

Much better choices , this property is in my opinion not a good representation of what a Marriott Residence Inn should be. The air conditioning was not pulling air into the bedroom- very uncomfortable. The desk sent someone up but had no idea of what was going on. I was old to leave it he bedroom door open for better circulation - Really The front desk said they would credit back some points - never happened. Look for a newer property.

We reserved this hotel room 2 1/2 weeks ago for one night only. We walked into the room and the air conditioning was off and it was 87°. We immediately turned the air on all the way down to 64°. I called the reservation desk and was told that it is their policy to not turn the air on before the guest arrive. He did apologize. Ridiculous because it was already 90° in Florida at this time. Turning the air on in a hotel room at 84° inside, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, with the sun beaming in, there is no way that the air in the room will cool off before 6 o’clock the next morning and it didn’t. We were also told at check in that we had to turn on the water in the sinks, bathroom, and tub because of new construction. All of the water was running brown for approximately seven minutes. So here we are sweating profusely, unloading and loading or luggage into this hotel room, with all the water faucets turned on to let the dirt run out. The den did not have a sofa in it only uncomfortable chairs. Completely unacceptable. The breakfast was also terrible. Will not ever stay here again.

This place has roaches (room 206). I checked in for a three night stay and on the second night at 12a, we saw a baby roach on the bed and then a grown roach on the headboard. We saw two additional roaches in the sink as we were packing our things up to leave that night. The man at the front desk was apologetic and offered to give us another room but because seeing even 1 roach in a room, to me, indicates a problem, I asked him for a refund instead. He gave me the assistant manager and manager's numbers and told me someone would reach out to me later that day (because by the time we checked out it was about 1a). I called the number given and briefly spoke to the assistant manager who said the manager would be the one to assist. He forwarded me to her voicemail and I left a message. She never returned my call. I don't know if it was because I booked through a third-party and the third-party was responsible for refunding me but regardless, I feel that is really unprofessional. After struggling to find a hotel that would take us in at 1a, we had to get all of the necessary items to be able to wash our clothes and find a laundromat. It was truly a miserable experience. Priceline refunded me for the nights we did not stay.

We showed up at 1am on Dec 15th expecting a room to sleep in as we reserved and found a lobby full of people with NO ONE working. Customers calling and searching for someone to check us in. We waited an hour and no one came. So, we booked another room, drove there and were in bed after 3 am, instead of 1 am... for another theme park day the next day. This had a negative impact on our rather expensive theme park experience the next day. So, after the fact the actual site ignored me, so I wrote corporate... which told me to deal with the site that ignored me. Then I posted on BBB and they said, gee sorry. Um. NO. You don't get to screw up that bad and just say sorry. If the shoe was on the other foot, and I was the one making the mistake, Marriott is more than happy to keep my money. I want fair compensation. In my opinion (based on decades in customer service) is a voucher for the same amount or a single night 'free' stay. I will continue to write until I get satisfaction. The CEO is next.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was very nice. I spoke with a gentleman that worked evenings and nights and he was so helpful. I haven’t been treated this nice since staying a hotel, pre—covid, with a concierge service. I will be back and will definitely be staying there again.

I booked this hotel for 5 nights while having flood work done at my home. I used the Bonvoy app to book the reservation and was given a digital key. Upon arrival I grabbed a luggage cart (which was absolutely disgusting) and unloaded my car in the loading zone that offers no overhead coverage - it was raining. Got up to my room and the digital key did not work and it sounded as if the room was occupied. Called down to front desk and they called the room to be sure no one was there and reset my key. The TV was left on, room was not occupied. The entry area and kitchen floors were sticky. The furniture was worn, a kitchen cabinet door was busted and the mirrors on the closet door were FILTHY. If housekeeping is missing mirrors, what else are they skipping? I again called the front desk and they sent up housekeeping. I was told that the floors were sticky because of the chemicals they use and she wiped the mirrors down. Being unsatisfied, I went downstairs and requested a refund which I was denied. The Assistant Manager refused to refund me for that night. The place is definitely worn. There is construction going on in the back of the hotel. Grass in the area is overgrown - there was not a designated area to walk pets. Skip it and head down the road to the Tradition area.

the hotel and staff are amazing.The GM Ronnie NIchols is very professional and handles situations very good.She was very attentive to my needs.I would for sure coming back here and will recommend it to other people.

Last minute stay was great a this hotel. Due to floods in Fort Lauderdale we drove North 95 and ended up at this hotels around 3 am. The front desk service provider - Stephen was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He was able to get us a room on the top floor and understood the situation we were in. I am thankful for his help. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and all the staff were friendly. The breakfast was pretty good by ‘free breakfast’ standards and it was close to many restaurants and grocery stores. I recommend this hotel!! And I’d book it again next time I’m in the area.

This used to be a great hotel; however, I found it to have gone downhill during a recent visit: - They did away with their nightly evening reception with complimentary wine, beer and snacks - Their free breakfast is not edible. It used to be a great spread, but they are clearly cutting corners - They don't clean your room every day - if I am paying a nightly rate, the room should be cleaned each day. While they exchange towels every other day, I returned to my room to have found it not complete, so had to remind the staff at the front desk - People smoked cigarettes and cigars around the pool, making it difficult to enjoy a swim There are better hotels a couple exits down the road. I won't be returning to the Residence Inn.

Clean comfortable and convenient location. The front desk manager was very nice and super hospitable. He really made us feel welcome with enthusiasm and a smile. Room was very clean and though the bed could have been more comfortable, ive slept on a lot worse, like the Homewood Suites one exit down . Hot water in shower could have been hotter, never got past warm.

Nice place; good location for us. Comfortable mattress, clean and staff friendly. Enjoyed breakfast. We had car trouble so needed to book an extra night using points. Staff was ver accommodating. Would stay again.

We enjoyed out stay and will be back when in the area. We were greeted with excellent customer service and the property was very clean! The outdoor area is nice too! Grills, fire pit, tables and more to make your stay away from home even better.
