The Slipway B&B

We ordered tea for four and was given one pot of tea which was expensive to start with The teapot had two teabags in for four people so I asked for a top up of hot water They had the nerve to charge me £1for hot water Absolutely ridiculous Would never go again as service was very brusque and not very friendly

The Slipway Port Issac is without doubt the one eatery in this beautiful harbour side village TO AVOID! We do enjoy our coffee and cake but the selection of cakes was very disappointing. We settled for two Oatmilk Lattes and two Muffins. The lattes were ok, nice and hot although the cups were a lot smaller than we are used to. The Muffins were very dry and tasteless and gave the impression of being bought from a Supermarket Budget line. Anyway we were on a mini break and determined to enjoy ourselves regardless. The best however was yet to come, The Bill, as follows: 2 latte. @ £4.80 = £9.60 2 Oatmilk @ £0.80 = £1.60 2 Muffins @ £4.00 = £8.00 TOTAL. £19.20 We were pretty disgusted at these prices more akin to London so we asked around the other eateries in Port Issac and they were all considerably cheaper and they were very apologetic that we should be charged so much saying that it reflected badly on them and did nothing to encourage people to return. So remember the name THE SLIPWAY, give it a miss!

Bed too small, bathroom v small also. B & B v tired. Closed restaurant a few days before our visit so no bar facilities. No hot water am so had cold shower with no apology from owner. Poor breakfast. Very expensive, in fact higher price than anywhere else we stayed during the week & all vastly superior. Very poor value for money - will certainly not be staying again. Absolute rip off!

Caratteristico inn sul porto, la nostra nostra stanza aveva una bellissima vista ed era arredata in modo molto grazioso e confortevole, anche se di piccole dimensioni. La colazione davvero ottima, come pure la cena a base di pesce, squisita. Personale gentile. Il parcheggio pubblico è un po' distante e la strada è in salita, ma facendo attenzione alle stradine strette, si possono scaricare le valigie all'hotel prima di andare a parcheggiare.

A wonderful location right in the middle of town. The room was quite nice and had a great ocean breeze. I highly recommend. Breakfast was quite nice also. The room was quite quiet in the evening and I got a very good sleep. Some rooms have balconies also.

The Slipway is really lovely. It is in the prime position in Port Isaac, right at the centre of everything. The staff are charming and the breakfast is great. Room 11 is fabulous - what a view!
