卡利多尼安旅館(Caledonian Inn - the Stump)

Has massive potential but sadly lacks a good cleaner. The Bed was great but the other menities were not up to standard. dirty, not working very well. No milk to even make a coffee in the room. found a left over hale eatrn roll behind the fridge that I had to move to use the power points.

I had paid through ********** for our stay 2 weeks beforehand. On arrival after asking for the keys I was told I would have to pay before I got the keys. On insisting I had paid, the response was still if you don't pay you don't get the keys. No thought of a quick check to ********** to see if any payment had been made. So what do you do in this situation? I paid again and later rang ********** who quickly confirmed my payment had been made over 2 weeks beforehand. No apology from the establishment - just a matter of fact voice message that my payment would be refunded. But there's more. - we had booked a room for 4 adults showing a queen and 3 singles. I questioned the establishment and they said the 4th bed was a trundle. When I showed them that I had booked a room for 4 adults they said that was not possible and if I could show them that the room had been advertised for 4 adults they would give me a part refund - this was because we had to book another room because of the inadequacy of the room booked for 4. When shown that ********** had indeed advertised the room for 4 adults/1 queen and 3 singles, the establishment blamed ********** taking no responsibility for the problems encountered and hence would give no partial refund. Would I return here again? No need to even ask.

The inn needs good maintenance and cleaning.

Nice stay in Port Fairy in the hotel. Very flexible with dinner even while I was a bit late. Room quite good and comfortable. Only drawback was that working people were working on improvement of a terrace and that was a bit noisy in the morning, but quite sure when the work is done the facility will be even better.

We had a relaxing weekend away here, from the moment we went to check in, the staff were fantastic, very welcoming. The room we stayed in was sparkling clean and had a beautiful bathroom. The location was lovely and we would definitely stay again.

My room was recently renovated and was clean and bright. The Inn was full of history and the owner was friendly and full of local information.

Very small room for the family of 2A and 2C, hardly any space to move around. Only good if you want to sleep and spend the day out. Microwave oven a very basic necessity isn't provided. Wifi wasn't working, we had to use Google Tv from phone hotspot to keep kids entertained. Before booking and post booking called them a few times and left voice and text msg but no response.

Clean, comfortable room. Unfortunately the shower curtain was too short so the bathroom floor ended up being covered in water following a shower.

A cozy little inn within 10 steps of town. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Nice new deck to soak up the sun in the afternoon and a popular spot for locals and travellers.
