The studio we rented was very disappointing. Dusty, cobwebs and dingy room. The place needed a good clean and an upgrade in furnishing. There was a charge for an extra towel. Faucets in the bathroom old and made noise when turning on and off. Stove was old and functioned poorly

Customer service is shocking. Would not recommend. We couldn’t stay here due to the cyclone they had no running water and no bottled water in Cole’s. We were told this on prior to boarding our flight there. So we needed to book last minute in cairns. This hotel have not refunded me ignoring my emails and phone calls. Do not stay here would not recommend they are not helpful or friendly

Destaca -alimentacion con más de 20 platos fuertes que abarcan, carnes rojas, blancas, azules, que incluye pescado de varias calidades como cherna asada, langosta, calamar, merluza, etc, res, puerco, pollo, embutidos diversos y la mayoría cocinados en la plancha de manera personalizada, diversos quesos, ensaladas de vegetales en increíble combinación y sabores, vegetales con muy diferentes presentaciones , combinaciones y aliños, panes en variedad, cócteles de frutas para pensar, natillas, pastelería, caldos, etc -bebidas de casi todo tipo desde whisky tequila , brandy, rones, cócteles y todo en cinco bares, desde espacios frente al mar hasta íntimos y climatizados -tremenda animación donde destacan los juegos , bingo y música -Buen estado y confort de las habitaciones, TV por cables en 5 idiomas - si todo eso fuera poco, la atención es excepcional, todo el mundo pregunta cómo te sientes, que problema tienes, como la estás pasando, desde el gerente del hotel hasta el más sencillo empleado. Todo el mundo gira alrededor de atenderte rápido y a tu gusto, te sirven hasta en la playa. Ves muchos empleados comunicándose en distintos idiomas. - Y lo especial además de lo antes dicho, si todo el relato parece más de 5 estrellas, el precio es de 3. - el staff combina personas de muchos años de trabajo con personal muy nuevo que aunque menos experiencia se le nota no le falta la pregunta " que desea tomar, como lo sirvo". Es unánime la disposición y la entrega - No falta problemas aunque menores pero se resuelven rápidos. - la norma del hotel no son los protocolos sino la atención. - la ubicación es muy cerca de varios lugares atractivos, bar eclipse, parque de artesanía, estación de bus, etc Esto no es una promoción, es mi opinión honesta después de más de 15 visitas al hotel CLUB TROPICAL, VARADERO, AGENCIA ISLA AZUL

Fantastic service at Reception and very informative on the port Douglas carnival and surrounding events Beautiful view to the beach. Could see fireworks right from our balcony. Walking around town was easy from this venue. Made our trip.

Beautiful location in the centre of port Douglas. Just a few minute walk to Coles, restaurants, and the marina where the tours for the Great Barrier Reef depart from. There’s a beautiful coastal walk nearby also. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming, more than happy to help book tours and airport transfers etc. and full of knowledge about the surrounding area. Room was tidy and clean and they have a beautiful pool to relax in and even a sauna to sweat it out in! Would definitely recommend staying here

This hotel gets 3 1/2 stars due to its central location, great view, friendly staff and cleanliness. It is pretty dated and The lift only goes to the second floor and we were on the third floor. It was easier just to use the stairs which at 69 and 70 was a slight challenge with a suitcase and our grocery shop.
