Great place to stay in port Douglas lovely and clean town house . just far enough out to have a walk in town.mel is a great host. Nothing to much trouble Highly recommend this place.market day Sunday and the tin shed restaurant is another highlight of this lovely place .

The townhome-style accommodations were spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of 4 (kids are 7&9). There’s a bathroom on each floor, one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. We booked 2 bedrooms, so the one downstairs off the main living area was locked. Location was great, quiet area, short drive into Port Douglas’ main street (street parking is easy), convenient base to other destinations in the area. What gives this place the edge over other similar accommodations is Mel, the manager. Leading up to our stay, she was great with recommendations on things to do in the area, and key in helping us choose a snorkel company that was best for our situation. She made the reservation and even kept an eye on the ocean conditions for us. A few days prior, she recommended moving our tour a day earlier, because the day we had originally booked was forecast to be rough seas. She took care of the reschedule, and the cost (same as if I had booked it directly with the snorkel company) was added to our accommodation bill - easy peasy! Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend Tropical Nites for your Port Douglas stay!

Mel and Andy were great hosts - the booking process was efficient, friendly and they went the extra mile by informing us in advance of nighttime road repairs/closures due to Cyclone Jasper damage so we could make alternative travel arrangements. They also booked our local trips - a fantastic morning trip to the Low Isles with Calypso and croc spotting on the Daintree with the Solar Whisper. The apartment at Topical Nites was perfect. Very clean and spacious. The pool was great for cooling off after a decent walk. Highly recommended.

We loved our 7 days accommodation at Tropical Nites, the perfect place to relax and unwind in our well appointed townhouse, set in lush tropical gardens. Everything was spotlessly clean, bright and airy with a welcoming atmosphere - from the spacious kitchen, dining, lounge areas to the comfy king size beds in generous sized bedrooms. It was easy to feel relaxed and happy within the appealing and thoughtful decor of our townhouse. Thank you to hosts Mel and Andy, who were friendly and helpful from the moment we made our booking to the welcome we received on arrival and their continued hospitality throughout our stay. We have stayed here several times because it’s consistently good and meets our needs with a short walk to the beach & shops (needed with holiday eating and drinking), quiet surrounds, plenty of room in the unit, modern renovated bathrooms, comfy furniture and great managers.

Thank you Mel and Andy for another wonderful stay. The townhouse was perfect for our large family - clean, spacious and with great amenities. The kids loved the heated pool. We always appreciate your hospitality and hope to visit again soon!
