波多阿祖爾套房飯店

We stayed at Puerto Azul early May 2024 and had a wonderful stay and looking forward to returning in September. We’ve been visiting Puerto Pollensa since 1997 but first visit to Azul. It is a wonderful hotel, great location, superb facilities and lovely/ helpful Staff.

We previously stayed at this complex a few years ago and had a very positive experience. We booked for a three night stay this time around and I was very happy to leave . You could say from the checking in experience the signs were there that this is definitely not a four star complex. We were sent on our merry way to find our room ourselves. The first problem we encountered was the air conditioning system which was extremely loud . I presented myself to reception the next day and informed a male employee of the problem and was told they would get maintenance on to it . This issue was not dealt with at all even after a second report. Breakfast was ok and the chef at the cooking station was exactly the same ok . Dinner was excellent the only enjoyable experience of the stay and the host at the restaurant in the evening was the only member of staff that had any form of customer service. There are petty extra charges here that really bothered me , the safe in the room charges for towels after a deposit 1 euro for fruit from the breakfast buffet if you want to take it with you . Upon checking out I mentioned that our issue with the air conditioning system was not dealt with the attitude of the male receptionist was cavalier to say the least . Not what you expect from a so called four star establishment. All in all I definitely would not stay here again didn’t feel valued or welcomed. Staff need retraining in customer service and bar staff should be happy to leave the setting of tables for evening entertainment especially when two are doing the job to serve the waiting guest . I emailed the complex to tell them of my experience through their website but got no response.

Das Hotel war super, nah am Strand und sehr ruhig. Das Mittagessen in der Snackbar ist gut und günstig. Die Kinderbetreuung war ca. 10.30-13.00 und 15.00-17.00 Uhr. Sie wurde verkürzt, wenn es wenige Kinder hatte. unsere Kinder gingen sehr gerne in Spielzimmer, der 2 jährige konnte noch nicht alleine bleiben und so war es etwas schade, dass es im Keller war, recht dunkel und kalt. Die Kinder störte es natürlich nicht, aber für mich war es weniger schön dort zu sein als im Mitsi blue domes auf Kos. störend fand ich, dass der TV permanent lief. Es gab immer wieder Situationen, wo die Kinder plötzlich TV schauten wenn sie am zeichnen waren oder turnen. Manche Spiele wie Jenga, Boccia etc. wurden auch draussen angeboten und wenn man gewann, gab es einen Badge mit Tino. Jeden Abend gab es Kinderdisco und auch der Spielplatz wurde vom 2 und 5 jährigen geliebt. Für die Kinder wirklich ein tolles Angebot wenn auch das Mitsi blue domes noch etwas mehr überzeugte (Steine bemalen, Schatzsuche, Kinderdisco auch nachmittags etc.). Das Frühstück fand ich ok aber nicht so ausgezeichnet wie andere schreiben. Eine Frau war einmal sehr unfreundlich, weil ich mich morgens scheinbar an einen Tisch setzte, den sie schon fürs Nachtessen am parat machen sei. Sie sagte dies so unhöflich, dass sogar die Familie am Nachbarstisch die Augenbrauen hoben. Das finde ich schade. Dieselbe Person brachte uns auch kein Besteck als ich mich an einen nicht gedeckten Tisch setzte. Das Personal sonst ist sehr freundlich, Reception, Beachbar, Rafa von der Animation. Der Bingoabend ist auch lustig. Wir haben auch spontan den Urlaub um 2 Tage verkürzt, weil wir noch in eine Finca wollten. Es gefiel uns dann doch und wir verlängerten wieder um 2 Tage. Das war alles kein Problem, sie waren sehr flexibel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolview, das war toll.

Rooms. Spacious, even with 5 of us. Two completely separate single beds fold easily out of the sofa bed and our boys (7 and 4) said they were very comfortable. Full sized cot provided for our youngest which there was plenty of room for in the lounge are but would also have fitted easily into the main bedroom. The large balcony on the first floor was perfectly safe with a wall up to about 2 feet then a solid glass barrier to about 4 feet high. Restaurant. We were half board in the hotel. Breakfast 8-10 (or 1030?). Good variety of food available. Juice and hot drinks available and plenty of machines so no need to queue. Hot food was nice and hot. Plenty of high chairs available. Dinner 7-930. The food all seemed to go together and was easy to pick a meal and stick with it instead of having random things piled on a plate. Freshly cooked meat and fish every day and good selection of salads. Puddings were delicious and mostly portioned up in individual glass containers or little plates so it looked neat and appetising. Staff were very quick to take drinks orders for evening meal and all friendly and playful with the children. Pool area. Clean and lots of sunbeds available, even in the school holidays. Activities throughout the day provided by then entertainment team, we didn't really use this as we were mostly out of the hotel in the day time. Pool not heated and very cold. Resort. We love the resort and have visited many times. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Sand is beautiful and the water is very warm in October. Little to no waves and very shallow that even our one year old was confident and safe splashing about at he shore. We have visited the hotel before but unfortunately it will be the last time for us as when our youngest turns 2, there aren't any rooms to accommodate us.

Couldn't fault it, food was excellent, room was fine and clean, cleaning staff were wonderful,( when had a minor medical problem ) staff on front desk were helpful when we asked for advice on days out. Going back in June 25,need i say more. Be aware you do have to carry your own cases up to your room but there are lifts at the end of corridors

A weeks stay in September. 2024. Pros: A spotlessly clean hotel with a very clean pool. Maid service was great. The beds were very comfortable.Very friendly staff and very helpful. The location is excellent, with just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants, bars, shops etc. T.V in both lounge area and bedroom and lovely balcony that lit up every night. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. Great snack bar by the pool with a good varied menu. The only negative: Although there were plenty of sun beds, they were stacked up, not laid out and you needed to lift them and drag to any space you needed. It was very difficult to position the the umbrellas as they were concrete based and extremely heavy. Quite a few of the older generation needed help from other younger hotel guests to drag them to where their sunbeds were. Having said that, i would still recommend this hotel.
