Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve

This place is really terrible. Do not come here. I timed how long it took them to bring our dinner tonight. And it took one hour and a quarter. You cannot order side dishes. The food will not fill you up. There is no ability to choose the type of meal you want and it’s unbelievably slow. We had to leave in the end before our desert came. I don’t know what they’re doing in the kitchen, or what the waitresses are doing, but they’re definitely not trying to make this a five star hotel. The service is like one star. Nothing in the room works. We paid top dollar for the private 3 bed house. Of course, none of the TVs work, there is no cutlery in any of the drawers in the kitchen. It’s all formover function. You can’t get to the beach on foot. It’s a 10 min drive followed by a 15 min walk. The pool is tiny. The beer in the fridges is not cold. Everyone here is fast asleep. Save your money. Stay at home.

We called to ask if they took no resort walk in clients at their resturant were advised they do. We drove from Cannon Rocks to go for lunch at the gate we woke up the security who called in to confirm we had a “reservation” we knew we had called and been advised we could walk in. After 5 min wait at the gate feeling stupid we were told we can’t get in. We called again from the gate and advised we had driven and were told we needed a reservation and could not come in without one as-well as we needed to pay a deposit to confirm booking. Well will never come again and will advise all travelers and friends to avoid the bad attitude and arrogance of this place and staff

The location itself is beautiful with breathtaking scenery. However, for the price, we were expecting a little more. Our room was clean, but the communal toilets were not. I'm lactose intolerant and was assured by the manager prior to our stay that they could accommodate me, as we ideally wanted to be all inclusive. The dairy free options were very bland and disappointing, with the dessert being fruit every night. The staff however were lovely and I cannot fault them. We were just expecting something a little more special, as we broke our budget to stay here.

Game park is erg klein. Kwaliteit eten en wijn had beter gekund. Prijs/kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Kamers zijn ruim. Erg lang wachten op eten en drankjes terwijl het niet druk was. Uitzicht vanaf je balkon is erg mooi. Jammer dat je niet op eigen gelegenheid naar het strand kunt.

Hotel 5 étoiles ! Absolument pas ! Hôtel vieillissant, humide, même menu durant 3 jours, nourriture pas bonne, bref aucune classe ! Suite océan tres grande mais literie mauvaise et Personnel junior, safari nul ! Le seul point positif la vue sur l'océan mais la plage est accessible en 4x4, vraiment très déçu, ne pas se fier aux photos !
