I have just enjoyed a few days here and can say I feel very relaxed. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and Caroline is a most welcoming host. Continental breeze is offered in the dining room. There are cafes within walking distance along with a chippy that is locally and offers vegan pies. As well as Poole there is Ashley Cross which has pubs and a number of restaurants. Some of them are upmarket and offer excellent food and drink. The guest house backs onto Poole Park which is great for walking, a large lake is home to many birds and good vies. I have a Freedom pass that works on the buses here and one day I did a trip into the historic town of Wimborne. All in all a great break.

We have stayed previously with these wonderful hosts Caroline and Adrian. This time we had booked room only, however on arrival we were informed that a breakfast room with toaster, fridge, and microwave would be at our disposal and that bread, cerals, milk etc would be given to us free of charge. This is such a wonderful B & B the hosts always go the extra mile, for comfort, and cleanliness, they really care about their guests. Room 6 is my favourite room, I have seen complaints about road noise but we never notice it and even have the window open, rooms at the back of the house are available if you don't want to hear a car driving by!!! Really close to city centre, close to bus stop and reliable taxi service also available. Poole Park behind the B & B. Just perfect, yet again, great memories made.

I never write reviews unless I am really impressed, so here I am. Before arrival, communication was excellent. Parking on site is tight but the hosts did all they can to play car Jenga to keep everyone happy. They were very helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in a beach theme, the beds were comfortable and there are lots of little extras to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast was faultless. Good choice and very customisable, excellent quality ingredients and lovely service. Main road position didn’t faze us at all, literally, 2 minutes walk from beautiful Poole Park with a huge pond, lots of wildlife including hundreds of jellyfish! If I come back to Poole, I’d not stay anywhere else.

This incredible little gem of a B and B has the feel and quality of a 5 star place. The breakfast is quality and delicious, hosts are incredibly lovely and want your stay to be perfect. Rooms are lovely stylish and very clean with everything you need. Hosts have great local knowledge so are useful if you need directions or ideas for places to visit eat and drink. We stayed in room 6 and we had amazing sleep in a comfy bed and we had a fabulous weekend. Thank you

Greeted warmly by the owner who gave welcomed knowledge of the area. Showed to a spotlessly clean room which was tastefully decorated to a high standard. Everything needed in the room was provided and restocked daily. Breakfast was the best so much choice and cooked freshly and could be adjusted to your preference. In a great location only few minutes from Poole Park which is behind the property. Going through the park a pleasant 25-30 mins flat walk into the harbour with everything that Poole has to offer. On site parking which is a bonus. A very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this B&B. Thanks Caroline and Adrian for making a very enjoyable stay.

Myself and my friend stayed at South Rising Guest House for 3 nights. We we’re not disappointed. The faculties were absolutely immaculate, and every small detail has been thought about. The owners are so polite and kind and go above an beyond. The rooms are maintained and cleaned daily and they look, feel and smell clean. You have a fantastic selection for breakfast to accommodate different dietary requirements (gluten, vegetarian and vegan). Our breakfast helped us to refuel for our days ahead and we’re a great start to our day. The guest house is situated in a fantastic location, not a far walk from local amenities, we’ve walked to town, The Harbour/ Quay and Poole Park. We don’t drive and was astounded how cheap the public transport is, we bussed from the guest house to The Harbour and it’s cost us £2.80 for a return! We will definitely stay again. We are absolutely delighted with our stay.
