Seit Jahren verbringen wir die Winterferien im Hotel Saratz, so auch heuer wieder 7 Tage. Außen-und innenarchitektonisch ist das Haus ein Schmuckstück, leider wurde die wunderbare Bar verändert.Das Hotel arbeitet sehr effizient fast wie ein Schweizer Uhrwerk, was auch am freundlichen Personal und der Direktion Frau Urban und Herr Scherer liegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und gepflegt, der Zimmerservice kommt leider gelegentlich erst spätnachmittags. Gute Neuerungen sind der fest zugeteilte Garagenplatz und die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer.SPA-Bereich und Hallenbad sind einladend und gepflegt, die Physiotherapie ( Frau Myrta D.) und die Kosmetikerin möchte ich besonders hervorheben.Das Restaurationsangebot außer dem ausgezeichneten Frühstück entspricht nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen, leider wenig Raffinesse und geschmacksneutral.Es bieten sich aber gute Gastronomieangebote extern an wie etwa das ausgezeichnete Gianottis.Insgesamt ist das Saratz zweifellos eines der besten Hotels im Oberengadin, Preis-Leistung sind stimmig und der Wohlfühlfaktor ist groß. Deshalb kann ich das Hotel ohne Vorbehalte gern weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren jetzt bald 20mal im Saratz und haben dort immer schöne Ferien verbracht, so auch heuer 7Tage.Es ist sicher eines der besten Hotels im Engadin, sehr effektiv, alles klappt wie ein Schweizer Uhrwerk, kleine Sonderwünsche werden gern erfüllt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig, wie immer beeindruckend die Außen-und Innenarchitektur, die leider durch die jüngsten Veränderungen in der Hotellobby mit Verlegung der Bar einen kleinen Dämpfer erfahren hat. Nach wie vor ist der SPA-Bereich sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein, ausgezeichnete Physiotherapie und Kosmetik ( Frau Myrta D.) . Leider ist das Restaurationsangebot außer dem ausgezeichnetem Frühstück nicht verlockend, der Küche mangelt es an Raffinesse und Geschmack, eher Schweizer Hausmannskost (Beispiel Seezungen-Streifen Miniportion zu SFr 36,-).Der Zimmerservice kommt leider erst am Spätnachmittag(zuwenig Personal?) Ansonsten sehr angenehme freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Direktion (Frau Urban und Herr Scherer) sind ebenfalls sehr dienstbeflissen, haben uns als wirklich alte Stammkunden aber relativ bewusst ignoriert, wahrscheinlich sind wir als Pensionäre nicht mehr die richtige Zielgruppe. Mal schauen, wie die neue Direktion damit umgeht.

Wir waren schon x-Mal im Saratz. es ist jedesmal auf dem gleichen hohen Niveau. Darum hebe ich mal einen ganz genialen Drink hervor. Es ist der 1865. So gut. Patrick Falk könnte noch einen drauf geben, wenn er uns das nächste Mal den Franciacorza servieren würde. Muss aber nicht unbedingt sein, es hat noch viele sehr gute Drinks. Prost Patrick

The experience was exceptional, with outstanding hospitality and breathtaking views at the hotel. The food and the hotel property left a lasting impression. The desire to return with family for a memorable stay was evident, and overall, the experience was greatly appreciated and cherished.

It is not the first time we stayed in this hotel and as before we were fully satisfied with the service and the room. The hotel offers excellent breakfast and delicious dinner. It has a reasonable size pool and nice wellness area.

This was our first visit to Pontresina and we chose the Saratz for its reputation, central location, indoor/outdoor pools, ease of access to train and bus transportation, nearby hiking trails. wonderful views to the Roseg glacier from our room, and the half board meal plan. We enjoyed all the hotel had to offer including the small things - in-room beauty products and Nespresso machine for that morning coffee, However, the hotel is large and also caters to guests at the conference center across from the hotel. This means that on occasions the hotel staff are over-stretched taking care of the many guests and meal service is affected - long duration waiting for meal courses. This leads to a less-than-personal feeling for the guest that we find is common place in hotels in alpine settings in Italy and Austria. Our room (bed and sitting area) was comfortable however the bathroom (an old shower tub with plastic non-slip mat) is not up to the standard we would expect in a 4* hotel. We did have a great week of exploring and hiking the local area using the transportation pass that is included in the hotel room rate to get around. Take the Panorama trail from Alp Languard to Muottas Muragl for splendid views of the mountains, glaciers and lakes.

the corner suite on the left hand side has by far the most outstanding mountain views. It's nothing short of elating to enjoy the views in the mornings. Overall the skiing holidays in this Hotel have been most enjoyable. The half board arrangement was great and so the overall service. We will be back for sure
