The owners of the Tulia Zanzibar Hotel, Mr. Vopelka and Mr. Skodak, robbed me of 500.000 USD. I supplied the Tulia Hotel with equipment and services to that value. When you sit comfortably in the beautiful garden furniture, or relax in the chairs in the bungalows, or lie on the sun loungers by the pool, realise that all this furniture is stolen. The very concept of the hotel is my idea and even the name of the hotel was invented by me. Consider whether you want to spend your holiday in stolen stuff, a hotel run by crooks and thieves.

Our 3-night stay at Tulia was a great experience. The boutique resort is very comfortable with beautiful garden and beaches. What stood out was the highly personalised services. - Setting: Tulia is located in a very quiet location, with pristine lagoon and beach, as well as a beautiful tropical garden and farm. - Room: We stayed in a bungalow with partial seaview, which was very spacious and comfortable, it also comes with a nice patio. - F&B: Although the selection is relatively limited due to the size of the resort (only 16 rooms), the menu changes daily with fresh ingredients. - Services: Tulia offer very warm and personalized services, with a very high degree of flexibility. As we were leaving early for diving trips, team prepared breakfast for us before the regular restaurant times, and on our last night we were offered diner in a private setting in the garden with lovely decorations and music. We got to know most of the team during our stay, management is very present. We definitely missed the warm and personalized Tulia services after moving to Zuri. Great thank you to Michelle, Peter and the whole team for making our stay memorable!

We ended our two-week honeymoon at Tulia after a safari and wow, we were blown away. The resort itself is like postcard. It’s beautiful, serene and worth exploring - there’s a garden onsite where many herbs and plants are grown. The fine dining experience was delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There were so many thoughtful gestures from the staff - from surprise gifts and experiences to the wonderful send-off when we sadly had to leave. If you’re deciding on which room to go with - the ocean front villas were unreal. Waking up to a beautiful view of the sunrise from your bed or falling asleep on a hammock to the sounds of the water were amazing experiences. I could go on and on but suffice it to say - this was a trip of a lifetime. Tulia, thank you for the warmth and d hospitality. We hope to visit again!

Nestled with a mesmerizing view of the ocean, Tulia stands as the epitome of a luxurious retreat. Its grounds exude magnificence, the cuisine delights the senses, and the staff embody professionalism, kindness, and unwavering hospitality. Our stay at Tulia was a harmonious mix of relaxation and joy, a memory we will never forget.. The exceptional planning of a birthday dinner remains embedded in our hearts. The staff set us up in a private outdoor setting under lights, which included a three-course meal, cake, and a staff presentation. The attention to detail surpassed our wildest dreams, leaving us feeling deeply grateful for such a thoughtful gesture. While our stay was nearly flawless, we encountered a minor setback with the air conditioning in our room, which unfortunately did not operate at its optimum capacity. Despite the continuous efforts to rectify the issue, the a/c never got cold and we required a fan for the duration of our stay. Additionally, there was a slight hiccup in the realm of guest service when one staff member fell short in displaying empathy and accommodation. However, upon bringing our concerns to the attention of another desk representative and management, action was taken without hesitation. Tulia shines as a gem in Zanzibar.
