May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. We had a great time in Pompei thanks to staying in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful every minute - at reaching the hotel by the right train in the evening or even to get tickets to Vesuvio volcano that was overbooked online. Thanks to them we did not need to buy the package tour and we free to get there. The hotel has unique ambience and its decently devoted to the history of Pompei. It is next door to the ancient Pompei. Many restaurants are nearby. The room was great, spacious, quiet and clean. There was no noise from the street. We were sorry that the spa closes so early but the hotel was transparent in it. The breakfast was great for sweet lovers but a bit restrained for others. The bowls were not replenished until we have finished the breakfest. I was missing more vegetables and cheeses and those small local delicius things such as olivas or dried tomatoes that makes the breakfast at the hotel great. But it were just minor things. Thanks to all the staff for a great time.

We arrived at this property and were told our accommodation wasn’t in the main building but instead two minutes away up the street. We were then walked round to accommodation with signage up for “Eco B&B”. When we asked about this were then told this was a “sister hotel”. Feel free to Google this but Eco B&B is a 2-star B&B and Diana is a 3-star hotel. The difference was clear from the rooms and there was also c.40 stairs to climb with your luggage with no elevator. The B&B accommodation is above very busy and noisy late night bars and restaurants on the Main street in Pompeii. We highlighted we were unhappy about this particularly due to noise concerns and had booked Hotel Diana not this one and were moved back, taking luggage again with us. In terms of Hotel Diana, this is a nice enough hotel for the money paid. Air con and tv work well. Breakfast was basic but nice and bathroom was pleasant. Luggage storage was available the next day. If staying at a peak time I’d just beat my comments in mind and try to arrive early. We were taken aback about what happened and didn’t get an apology at any point.

È la terza volta che alloggio in questa struttura e ormai mi sento sempre più a casa grazie alla splendida accoglienza degli host. Il B&b dispone di ogni comfort, tra cui la sala comune per la colazione che ti permette di mangiare in altri momenti della giornata nel modo che più ti aggrada. Il proprietario inoltre nel corridoio prima delle stanza ti lascia la possibilità di usufruire di: ceste, piatti, posate per un picnic, the e caffè per un momento relax e di un frigo bar dove puoi posare le proprie cose. Il punto di forza è la locazione in cui si trova, ovvero 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e dall’ingresso degli scavi. Gli host super gentili saranno disponili a risponderti a qualsiasi info e richiesta. Campeggio ben tenuto, bagni impeccabili , personale Segreteria cortese e disponibili..unico neo docce donne con acqua non proprio calda (segnalato ma non è cambiato nulla)....vicino agli scavi e alla circumvesuviana : molto comodo

优势：1、靠近庞贝遗址，出门左转步行不到5分钟就到入口处，门外那条街特热闹，一直到凌晨1点还有很多人。2、早餐还可以，基本上该有的都有，在地下一层，连接外面的花园，见图；晚餐在楼外有一片区域，分量超足又好吃。3、酒店门口有专门的临时停车位，但不能过夜，停车在附近的停车场，出门往右不久再左转，游乐场的旁边，把停车票带回酒店盖章，出来时再交给收费员，免费，离开酒店时可以把车开进酒店内部几十米如图示位置，方便装卸行李。4、晚餐有位服务员比较热情，可能店里中国客人不多，特好奇。 不足：1、房价较贵，是我意大利行程中从米兰到罗马到那不勒斯十几家酒店中最贵的。2、三人间就是把沙发床变成一张床而已，紧紧挨着大床床尾，一下子房间空间就小了很多。 总体：入住体验不错，值得在此多住几晚。

Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Pompeii ruins, its just a 15min walk to the entrance. We found the location via a sign next to a locked gate and phoned the owner who answered straight away with the code for the keys to enter. The rooms were located up a couple of flights of stairs in a building complex. As you enter through the hallway door there is a breakfast station comprising of jams, Nutella, packet cake, selection of teas including fruit tea, a fruit bowl and fresh croissants which are delivered in the mornings and were absolutely delicious. Also a coffee machine for expresso, a water dispenser and fridge with fruit juice and milk as well as cereal dispensers containing corn flakes. The room was so lovely, very contemporary and clean, everything looked new, we had a family room with a huge king sized bed and a double sofa bed, all with crisp clean sheets. Great lighting options and blackout blinds, there was air conditioning but we didn't need it. Beautifully decorated bathroom with large walk in shower, shampoo/conditioner and body wash were available, and good lighting over the mirror. Great new hairdryer too! Was lovely sitting on the balcony before going out in the evening, it gets the sun all day. When we asked if we could store our luggage on our check out day the owner was very kind and said it was fine to leave it all there for the day as no one else was due to arrive in that room, this was very much appreciated as we were visiting the ruins for 5 hours before departing for Naples. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
