The service and the team are fabulous, the spa treatments, wellness activities and health and fitness options are without comparison. The food is delicious. The only thing letting this haven down is that the premises need a big refresh. Despite this, the other aspects are SO good, I will no doubt be back next year.

Booked a weekend stay to celebrate my wife's birthday and for us both to Rejuvenate our bodies, minds and spirits. Beautiful location with some lovely views. The spa treatments were decadent and got our rejuvenation off to a good start, supported by the wellness programs that we really enjoyed. Never thought I'd enjoy a class where I had to chat as much as I did! Leave the judgements at the door and try everything! Surprise packet was the food. I had low expectations of a 'health' retreat's food options, but was blown away by just how tasty, well portion and satisfying the food was! As a bonus, felt great because it was all nutritious.

I just spent a weekend at Elyisa Health Retreat in the Hunter Valley and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Initially, I was concerned about being underfed (!) and the lack of coffee / wine / chocolate (LOL), but I was delighted to find that the food was not only plentiful but also exceptional. The menu featured a variety of delicious dishes, including fish tacos, chicken breast with a flavorful potato salad and vegetables, indulgent chocolate brownies, salmon soba noodles, and the most amazing bircher muesli I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this retreat, especially for anyone feeling mentally overwhelmed. The retreat offers a perfect blend of activities, from yoga and massages to invigorating walks and exquisite meals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to recharge and take care of yourself.

I've been going to Elysia at least once a year for many years and sometimes twice a year. I go back there rather than trying new places because it is consistently wonderful. The staff are terrific, the food is absolutely fantastic, the spa treatments excellent and the activities plentiful and varied. T/he rooms are comfortable and the facilities generally well maintained. And it's good value for money, particularly if you book your next stay before you leave the current one - a meaningful discount applies. I hope they never change the program element and simply turn it into a resort as it is a very special place in summer or winter
