The latches ( lock) on the doors are attached to the door frame. However, this frame was not properly fixed in the wall. A boy tried to open the door but did not know that the latch was closed. As a result, the door frame was damaged. His parents had to pay 100 euros while the door frame was just poorly made. On inspection, several doors were already found to be damaged. It is just unacceptable that a hotel that claims to be top class takes advantage of its guests like this. They make customers pay for faults to the building. Shameful.

The hotel is located outside of the city but it is a good position. It is relatively new and modern. A taxi from the airport is 12€ fixed price. They were kind enough to upgrade my room as a Diamond Elite member. The room was very spacious. I could not get the required air conditioning temperature I wanted but this was fine as I could open the window. The hotel is quite functional rather than design oriented. It serves the FA Montenegro and has great facilities. A huge swimming pool with jacuzzi then a lovely spa area in the basement with two more jacuzzi, saunas and steam rooms. The restaurant was huge, and we opted for a buffet dinner for €16 and it was very nice. Really enjoyed the food actually. Breakfast was included as I’m a Diamond member and was fine. The staff were all lovely and went above and beyond to take care of us. We were able to keep the room until 1pm so that we could enjoy a tour of Podgorica before coming back then leaving to Tivat. The only real negative about the hotel was that upon waking up there was no hot water. The system I don’t think could cope with all the FA Montenegro taking a shower around the same time. A cold shower isn’t what you expect in a 5 star hotel. Otherwise I’d happily return.
