雷鳥汽車旅館(Thunderbird Motel)

Very clean, everything was spotless. Great if you are just needing a place to sleep. Only downfall is no breakfast but not a deal breaker. I would stay again. They have friendly staff and can check you in over the phone if you are getting in late.

Booked 4 days stayed 3 days on veteran week end, no refund for the day had not use, had not seen room service in three days (so no tips for room service). No ice, nor hot water in lobby, coffee serves late in the morning, bathroom sink is too low ( will have problem if you are 6 feet or taller). Building is old so furniture, bed, wifi is available but password does not work Have microwave and frid in room, quiet area, reasonable price 70 dollars a day taxes included (room 225)

Not so good. No heater in 30 degree temps. People above stomping around all hours of the night. Hardly got any sleep after driving 10 plus hours. Sink was dripping all night.

When you drive up to this hotel, you may wonder what's going on here. The owners are in the process of turning this into a darned nice place, so ignore the outside and take a look at the newly renovated rooms. This is the cleanest hotel we've been in on a long road trip—spotless, and the linens, beds, furniture, refrigerator, microwave, and dressing room fixtures were all brand new. When the TV didn't work, the two children of the owners brought us a new one, programmed it for us, and explained that their parents were in the process of renovating the whole place. We had a comfortable, quiet two nights here. Don't be turned off by the exterior--it's way better than it looks.

Good room at a decent price

Only complaint is the room was on ground level and the curtains were so thin when the lights were on you could see in from outside. We had to hang a blanket over the window for privacy.

Read reviews before i arrived. Some good, some not so much. My opinion is that a good review is correct. Nice people, clean room. Good location. Everybody sees the world differently. I was pleased with this motel.

We stayed at Thu derbird twice this summer (2023). The staff, and their rooms' overall condition, were fine...but we had to request "to be given another room" on each occasion because the beds were in such POOR condition. The beds in the second rooms were fine.

Our room was quite clean and comfortable. The shower offered plenty of hot water. The wall-mounted airco unit appeared to be new-ish, and it worked very well. But as is so common, it was rather loud during the night. Overall, we would certainly stay at The Thunderbird, again.
