弗拉維亞別墅精品飯店(Villa Flavia Heritage Boutique Hotel)

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Flavia - could not recommend this hotel enough. Perfectly located for quick access to Kapana district (trendy restaurants and bars!), old town and ancient ruins. Hotel and room were gorgeous, including a great roof terrace. Breakfast was good with enough variety and service was excellent. The Roman bath ruins below the hotel are impressive, with short tours offered.

A hotel filled with exquisite characteristics and identity, a true definition of quality, personalization and superb hospitality. Great location in the centre of most points of attractions, quality services and amenities - great hospitality from the staffs, very sumptuous breakfast spread, beautiful and clean room with great bed. And most uniquely of all is the presence of the past historical ruins co-existing with the now. Amazing experience.

The location is perfect as it borders old-town Plovdiv on one side, and the long shopping street "Knyaz Alexander I" on the other, where in minutes you reach great shops, restaurants and terraces. The Roman bath house discovered in the basement during the hotel's 6 years of rebuilding and renovation, was integrated into the hotel with great care by the new owners after Plovdiv's archaeological excavation. The atmosphere of Roman times can also be found in the beautifully decorated courtyard where you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch. The luxurious atmosphere, intimate service and unique style, combined with up-to-date modern furnished rooms and bathrooms makes staying in this hotel a great and unforgettable experience, more than just an overnight stay. Both the owners, the entire staff of Villa Flavia, including the cleaning ladies, are extremely customer-friendly. They are always ready to help or answer your questions, and always up for a pleasant chat. Although for certain reasons the hotel is rated as a 3- or 4-star hotel, Villa Flavia definitely deserves a 5 star rating in our opinion. We will definitely return to this hotel on every future visit to Plovdiv.

This relatively new boutique hotel is the best in Bulgaria! It is a stunning little gem, beautifully restored and maintained by a family who has paid attention to all the details that make a hotel stay worthwhile. From the welcome drink to the upscale toiletries to the home-cooked breakfast buffet, everything was perfect! Not to mention the personal tour the owner gave us of the Roman bath they found in the basement during the restoration! The service and cleanliness in the hotel was impeccable, with smiling and helpful staff (not always found in Bulgaria), and the perfect location for visiting Plovdiv.

Amazing place! Everything was perfect - modern, super clean, helpful and kind staff, and excellent customer service! There’s really good Italian Illy coffee in the room, bedroom gets dark and great for sleep, I had a cute little balcony, AC, convenient location in the center and close to restaurants and bars, and the staff always had great recommendation for places to visit. Overall, an excellent stay.

Best hotel we stayed in during our two weeks in Bulgaria (and best breakfast). Nice, cozy, super clean rooms. Extremely friendly and attentive owner &staff. Really can’t ask for anything more. The best surprise was the basement-with evacuations of an Roman Bath!!! The -rightfully proud- owner have us a private tour and explained how they did the archeological explorations. Just great. Congratulations!

We loved absolutely everything. It was beautiful, comfortable, well thought out and very special. The fact that there are 2nd century Roman baths in the basement is just icing on the cake. Service was top notch and the breakfast was wonderful. We regret that we only had one night here. Another would have been perfect.
