Great Comfort & Breakfast, Poor Customer Service The Clarion Hotel in Plainfield impressed me with its clean building and rooms, plus an excellent breakfast that exceeded expectations. My stay was comfortable and restful 👏. Unfortunately, the customer service fell short—staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. I believe I met the owner, and he should know that without a stronger team, the hotel risks losing loyal guests and revenue.

I have never been so horrified in my life. The owner of this facility is absolutely vile, and I’m not sure how he is still in business. My sister and I were traveling across the country and arrived with six kids after driving all day for 11 hours. We were very excited to get settled and get some rest before we had to wake up and drive all day again. When we checked into our rooms, they looked dirty and extremely outdated. We checked our mattresses due to us both having a severe fear of bedbugs. Within two minutes of looking, we found six bedbug carcasses and the textbook “blood stains” that are present with a bedbug infestation. We immediately gathered our stuff to leave, and when we informed the owner, he was extremely rude to us. Told us that we were making up that he had bedbugs and that he would absolutely not be refunding our money. So we had to load our six tired kids back up in the car and drive another 40 minutes to the next available hotel and we were out $260. It has taken me a few days to write this review because I was still so mad. I would not recommend ANYONE stay at this disgusting place.

Glad we chose this hotel! Bed was very comfortable. Also enjoyed the free breakfast ….nice variety of food offered.

We stayed here before an early flight. We got in late and left early, so we weren't there long, but it was everything we needed. We even parked there for two weeks while on vacation, through Way.

Me and my granddaughters (5 of them) stayed here for the weekend. They had a good time! The only problems we encountered were our TV at first wouldn’t come on, then it wouldn’t change channels. The our air conditioner unit stopped working. And the couple of times we went to the front counter, no one was there.
