德爾蒙特羅切斯特萬麗Spa飯店

I booked two nights and a day at the spa for myself as a mini getaway. The spa was nice and I would go back if a nicer hotel was associated with it. But I echo all of the complaints from other reviews - room was very dark and cold, heating unit was in my room behind a maintenance door and was quite loud, absolutely zero amenities (no robe, no bottled water, no room service despite listing it as an amenity, no minibar, no housekeeping daily so nowhere to dispose of my trash from last night’s dinner, no friendly welcome from hotel staff when carrying in bags by front desk, room not cleaned completely ( sticky spill covered the coffee station, bedding was coming off of the bed). I’ve stayed at more than one Marriott Fairfield and other 3 star hotels and had a better experience for more than $100 less per night. The bed was exceptionally firm to the point that I woke up sore the next day. The mini fridge was so small I couldn’t even fit my bottled water inside. Cheap coffee maker with the pod insert. Very disappointing for what should be a higher end hotel. I left before my second night and happily drove the hour back to my house. Save yourself the ridiculous $290 a night and pick any other basic 2-3 star hotel. I’m shocked this is ranked a four star hotel.

If you have never been here, you need to. One of the most spectacular hotels we stay at. Seriously. And we always do JW and Ritz. This hotel has such attention to detail it amazes me. Bonvoy members you are heard here and recognized. From the moment you get to the front desk they are friendly and acknowledged for your Marriott elite. Just keep in mind that upgrades are very difficult for them as much as they want to do it because of the very few suites they have. But they will ask (they do me) what floor I like, lower or upper. But the rooms are gorgeous. On the last two chilly nights I used the fluffy throw on the bed and that was wonderful. The shower is almost immediate with the hot water and the shower are roomy and have all the amenities you need. The rooms are so roomy and the beds are delicious. Yes delicious..so comfy!! There is a coffee maker and small fridge in each room and I love that. Best part...the rooms are pristine! Clean and sparkling. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the rooms are very dimly lit. I would like a bit more light. But I'll trade that for everything else this little gem has to offer. And did I mention that they are on the canal. Yes!! You can go down for an amazing breakfast and watch see the canal right out the window. Talk about ambiance. This is a must for everyone.
