諾克恩達若赫飯店

This was our second stay at Knockendarroch, our original stay back in 2016 was amazing and we were very excited to return again. We had such a lovely stay, the food was even more delicious than we remembered and the staff were all so welcoming and kind. I just wanted to say thank you to Louise and all the wonderful staff at Knockendarroch who made our stay really special. We hope to return again soon and in the meantime will be daydreaming about the gorgeous food again.

We visited this hotel for a short winter break , last November. We got a free upgrade to a balcony room on the top floor - views were spectacular. The log fire sitting room was nice , for drinks pre meal - meal was also nice . Will definitely be back sometime.

This was our first visit to the Knockendarroch Hotel, and I'm sure it won't be our last. The rooms, food, and staff were all first-class, and we had no issues of any kind. The hotel is close to the town centre, and there are plenty of car parking spaces. It's most definitely recommended.

Wir hatten ein ganz tolles Zimmer mit großzügiger schöner Einrichtung. Das Prozedere beim Abendessen war für uns neu, aber cool. Man wird erst im Salon platziert, um dort die Gänge für das Abendessen und die Getränke zu bestellen, während man einen Aperitif trinkt und Canapes isst. Das Essen war an beiden Abenden sensationell gut, wirklich hervorragend. Was uns überhaupt nicht gefallen hat, war das Frühstück. Obwohl man einen festen Timeslot hat, dauert es sehr lange, bis man etwas bekommt. Am ersten Morgen kam das Müsli nach 20 Minuten und die Eier nach 35 Minuten. Auch wenn wir es im Urlaub nicht eilig haben, das hat sehr genervt. Zudem war die Speisenauswahl für diese Preiskategorie sehr eingeschränkt. In mehreren B&B‘s hatten wir süße Teilchen, Croissants und Käse, das sucht man hier vergebens, wirklich schade.

Just a fabulous cosy place to stay. Couldn’t fault anything. The staff were wonderful. We had half board and the evening meal was superb, as was the breakfast! Loved it all, roaring fires to have your happy hour drinks with. Apparently it is a short walk into town which sounded very interesting but we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the cosy lounges. Great!

An excellent hotel, and a very handy base for exploring the area. Our room was very comfortable, with two easy chairs, which were very welcome after a long day walking. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, with a great selection for dinner and a superb breakfast. There is a reasonable wine list, with many available by the glass, but a limited selection of beers. Highly recommended.
