皮特洛赫裡的伯奇伍德

Estuvimos este mes de agosto tan solo una noche y menos mal que solo fue una. Llegas a un sitio precioso y un edificio excepcional que presume de ser de cuatro estrellas y piensas, aquí voy a descansar bien. Muy cerca del centro y con unos jardines preciosos. Cuando hicimos en check in, nos insistieron en su queríamos el desayuno a pesar de que nuestra reserva era sin desayuno, a la persona no le gusto y nos dio la peor habitación y más pequeña de todo el hotel. Cama de 1,20m donde no nos podíamos ni dar la vuelta, con un colchón duro como una piedra, se te pegaban los pies al suelo en el baño y no teníamos ni casi espacio para las maletas, no tienen televisor, cosa que no me extraña por que se oye todo, las paredes son de papel y con vistas a la basura y el patio donde cuelgan los trapos y ponen los trastos. Era la única que tenía está vista. Llamadme rara, pero yo creo que esto no pasa de ser un hostal, estuve en un par de Bed and Breakfast, mejores que esté sitio. Además al dejar una mala reseña, nos acusan de no haber pagado un desayuno que no disfrutamos por que no lo teníamos en la reserva, y aún así nos lo han cobrado de la tarjeta sin permiso después de no gustarles la reseña, cinco días después de irnos. Eso en cualquier sitio o país se considera un delito. No pegamos ojo en toda la noche y yo me fui con un dolor de espalda brutal gracias a la cama roca, salimos de allí tan rápido que no sé quién podría querer tomar nada. Espero que tengáis mejor experiencia si vais, yo no lo recomiendo

Un établissement remarquable, idéalement situé et offrant une cuisine végane de très haut niveau ! Nous avons séjourné 3 jours dans ce charmant et confortable hôtel, le personnel est accueillant et la cuisine vaut vraiment le détour. Un ravissement pour les gastronomes véganes et une magnifique expérience pour le non végane que je suis. À ne pas rater !

This is a fab little hotel in picturesque Pitlochry. We had a ‘cozy’ room which certainly was cosy, but good for one night. The staff were great and the breakfast was fabulous!! We didnt stay for dinner as it was very pricey but I’m sure it would have been lovely. The cocktails are also great and there’s a lovely outdoor space too. The only things I would say are don’t plan on arriving before check-in time as there is no one around… we waited almost half an hour after wandering around, shouting ‘hello’ and ringing the bell multiple times a chef came out and said we’d have to come back after check in time. I had been gifted a voucher for a stay for my birthday, just be careful as it doesn’t say anywhere on the voucher or the website that weekend stays require a supplement to be paid. I’ve booked many vouchers from other retailers and it is always clearly stated on the booking page, extra £40 for Saturday stays etc, but not here. They kept trying to upsell but I managed to get the room we had paid for. I tried to explain this via email but the person responding didn’t seem to understand what I was saying. Overall a lovely small hotel.

What has happened with this hotel?? We have a pre paid booking (a gift) for two nights mid October and have just received a generic email saying goodbye to customers etc. The website is no longer active either so I guess that's them closed. No courtesy email/call to let customers know what's happening, unbelievable.

We stayed one night and enjoyed the five course taster menu. The chef is a genius - every morsel was just perfect. It was all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious and happily, cruelty free. Thanks a million to the lovely friendly staff team
