We had an excellent stay in this lovely old but very comfortable Inn. Hospitality and friendliness could not be faulted. Real ale and a hearty breakfast - what more could you ask for!

This is a real gem of a place, Matt the owner was a wonderful host. The pub is cosy and inviting and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back

An absolute delight. Beautiful surroundings, rooms, food, wines and excellent staff. A must return place.

Off the beaten track, which was part of its charm. Lovely evening meal. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Had a relaxing break with family.

The service was good. Food was good, with staff coping well with my wife's food allergies. However the accommodation is highly unsuitable for anyone with even slightly limited mobility. The narrow staircase, the cramped room, the changing levels in the en suite, the uneven floor, the low ceilings made for an uncomfortable experience, such that we did not stay for the second night we had booked (but were still charged). The full view of the toilet available to any passing hikers is also disconcerting.

Very polite and friendly staff and a lovely area to drive through. Double bed was two singles pushed together which wasn’t the most comfortable ! Our main issue was with the breakfast, honestly awful. Would have preferred not to have eaten.

From the welcome to the room and the breakfast. Everything was exceptional. Very impressed with the quality comfort and cleanliness of our room. The bed, the linen and the pillows. Extremely comfortable and a high standard. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend. Hard to find, but well worth persevering!! Thank you
