Petra was an amazing experience for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful place. The Nomad Hotel is pretty strategically located near the Petra Visitor Centre, provided you have a car or someone is driving you. It's still a walkable distance but on the way back it can be strenuous as you have to climb uphill to where the hotel is located. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was not really spacious so we had to manage a bit with our large suitcases. But the bed was comfy and we had a good sleep. The view from the rooftop was fantastic. Breakfast was adequate, nothing too fancy but it served its purpose. There is a resident dog called Lucy who is very friendly.

I enjoyed every moment in here. All the staff are very helpful and friendly.

I have not had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. I made a non-refundable reservation before the conflict between Israel and Palestine began and a few weeks later the airline I was going to travel with canceled my flights and the Government of Spain warned that it was not advisable to go to the area and that the correct was to cancel or postpone the trip. For these reasons I contacted the hotel through all possible means but they neither wanted to refund my money nor responded to my messages nor did they accept a change of dates. I have traveled all over the world and experienced similar situations and I have NEVER, EVER seen a lack of empathy like this. It is the worst experience I have ever had because even the Jordanian government has granted me a postponement from Jordan while the people at this hotel did not even respond to the messages. UNBELIEVABLE.

The pictures looked nice but the hygiene and the room were avarage. Not worth the money.for example: stains on the bed, Toilet stank like raw sewage and the cutlery looked like someone picked their nose with it. Also booked for 4 nights but had to cancel 2 nights because of family getting sick. According to phone calls with the hotel and messages on booking there was a small fee for cancelling but they made me pay the whole bill. Plus extra unexplainable charges on the creditcard including dinner we never had, and extra charge for some extra towels we used. I dont recommend anyone to go to this hotel if you do dont pay with a creditcard and make sure the room and food is okay.
