在斯坦斯特德航班延誤後,而不是開車回家晚。接待處聞起來有點滑稽,但我們沒有期望太多,但我們驚喜地發現房間裏,可愛而寬敞的房間,舒適的牀,非常好的強力熱水淋浴和其他您在房間裏期望的通常設施。第二天開車回家之前,我們度過了一個愉快的放鬆的夜晚,非常受歡迎。

我在大廳安排慈善晚宴和最多90個房間。位置很漂亮,酒店很乾淨,佈置得很好。我在預訂、安排和活動本身中遇到的所有員工都是例外。他們總是彬彬有禮,專業,並沒有足夠的幫助。晚上過得非常好,對酒店、食物以及所有參加者的工作人員都提供了驚人的反饋。如果你想找一個地方安排一個活動,不要再看了。

Upon arrival Salma greeted us - super friendly. We stayed in room 24 on the first floor. The room was clean with a king size bed although it seemed a bit on the small size. Sheets were nice and fresh but there was a small (and I mean small) amount of what looked like blood that hadn’t completely washed away on the left hand side of the duvet cover. Mattress was okay, Pillows were comfortable but could have done with two - I’m sure if we had asked, Salma would have happily provided them. There were no glasses in the room however we were provided with plastic cups which was fine. The bathroom was clean, shower was great but bath mat had worn down and therefore meant the bath was quite slippery - good to see hand rails as I needed to use them when getting in and out. The soap by the sink had not been filled so we just used the shower gel in the bath. Curtains could have been darker and the room had a strange smell. Our room was above the Starbucks which meant that when the delivery lorry turned up at 8.45pm and didn’t leave until gone 10.00pm we couldn’t get to sleep at our usual time because of the noise the driver was making and we couldn’t open the window because of the fumes from the lorry that was left running right below our window. It was an early awakening too at 6.45am when the workers opened up Starbucks with lots of door banging and moving of the delivery downstairs. Parking plenty and great facilities such as greggs, Asda, subway and McDonald’s all within walking distance We will be back as have another booking as it’s convenient for parkrun locations but obviously wish to avoid that side of the hotel.

Clean comfortable generous sized room, very comfy bed and good nights sleep. Staff friendly and welcoming. Location brilliant for city centre stay, minutes walk from centre and near railway station. Free Car park but got very busy and crowded.

Booked the king luxury suite for 1 night to celebrate 20year anniversary. The pictures on there pearl’s website make the room look better than it is. Didn’t feel luxurious at all, cheap furniture, no bulbs in the lamps. The bed was comfy but the pillows were tiny and very thin. The en-suite had damp and mildew mould. The shower head and soap hold was filthy and the water did not drain properly. The laminate flooring in the rooms creak a lot, woken up a few times from the guest above walking about at 3am. Did not have breakfast there as a full English was preferred rather than the continental that was offered so used the college arms a few minutes down the road. The hotel itself looks nice and the booking in staff were pleasant. If some improvements were made this could be a beautiful hotel. Unsure if we would return , not worth the room rate at the moment.
