This newly remodeled home is built in an open-home concept with tons of windows, making the home bright and clean. It includes a quaint 3 bedroom, 2 bath main home and a separate 1 bed/1bath cabana. The main house features an outdoor living room, large kitchen, comfortable sitting areas (inside and out) and an open loft-style bedroom. The property offers a relaxing atmosphere, mountain views, and sits 20 minutes from the beaches of Dominical and 20 minutes from San Isidro.This house is located in the quiet mountain town of Tinamaste, where you may see frogs, geckos, and other wild animals. Tinamaste has a small grocery store, soccer field, and few of our favorite sodas (restaurants). There are occasional and random power outages in this area, however, it is all part of the charm. Some tourist sites near the house include Nauyaca Waterfalls (5-minute drive to the visitor's center), Playa Dominical (20 minutes), Parque Nacional Marino Ballena (Whale's Tail), and Manuel Antonio National Park (the latter two of which are within 1-hour from the house). The very well equipped main house (6000 sf/ on 3 levels) sits on a private jungle reserve of 66 acres which has 5 large waterfalls, jungle swimming holes, two rivers, spring fed creeks. There are tended hiking trails and quiet country roads. Los Aires is a bird watchers paradise. Monkeys and toucans frequent the property daily. Cool evening temperatures and warm days. Lots of jungle adventures and hiking/horseback riding. Close to the amazing Nauyaca Waterfalls, Dominical Beach and Guabo River rafting. Should you have difficulties while away from the house you can call our concierge for help. He is available 24 hours for any urgency. He will also help arrange activities, adventures, airport shuttles, local transport, meals, groceries, etc. We have two private drivers with luxury 7 pax SUV's available for airport pick up and daily transportation during your stay. We are 3.5 hours from SJO airport. We have a CUSTOM CANCELLATION POLICY that changes seasonally. Holiday (Xmas/NewYears) cancellations made within 120 days of reservation will be refunded minus a $250 administrative fee. Enjoying nature at this elevation allows you to be outside from the Howler monkey wake up call to the front row seats at your private sunset evening show over the ocean. You can play at the ocean during the day and enjoy a cool mountain village escape at night.Sitting on over 2-acres, this Bali-inspired compound features the main house, two detached guest casitas, an open air rancho, and enclosed bodega with a brand new washer and dryer, a private outdoor zen garden with a rain shower & soaking tub, a gas fire pit, and an infinity pool.The main house and rancho have high-speed fiber optic Wifi. We have 2 electric hot water heaters so that multiple showers & a hot bubble bath can be taken at once without any fear of running out of hot water for those long showers. Comfortable living spaces with high-quality finishes and teak furniture throughout. The property was designed to have the natural breezes travel through the living areas at this higher elevation and therefore is not air conditioned, but ceiling fans are installed throughout all of the sleeping spaces and outdoor rancho when desired. Eeeeek; no air condition !?!? We know, we are those people too and would absolutely have it if we were even slightly uncomfortable, but it is truly not needed and not used by anyone at this elevation. The spacious outdoor, covered rancho is the perfect place to watch the 5:00am morning rush hour traffic of the toucans and parrots while relaxing in a rocking chair with your morning Costa Rican Coffee. Consider a morning float in the pool, a bubble bath in the zen garden, a dip in one of the many private waterfalls in our area, book a massage at the house, or order up a breakfast detox drink to start your day. This property is ideal for 1-3 couples wishing to travel together (or a family with older kids). Although we love children, the layout of this home is very private having the 2 detached casitas off of the main house making this a better fit for adults. Teens would likely feel comfortable with their own space, but parents might not feel comfortable with little ones in a detached space.
