We stayed one night, which was a reward stay. The hotel is located in a commercial area south of the river in East Peoria. We arrived on a warm summer day and being members of the IHG One Rewards, a bottle of cold water would have been appreciated. However, our spacious room was quite nice with a good sitting group. Also, we noted a clean bathroom, a good bed, a safe and a coffee maker. Breakfast was good without being great.

Upon arrival the overall appearance was inviting. Made online reservation so check in was effortless..Requested ground floor room online (unfortunately didn't receive a ground floor room). Lobby clean and spacious..Elevator new and up to date.Hallways new and clean. Ice machine worked without issues..Very nice and very clean room with very comfortable beds and pillows. No complaints other than the room AC air filer was EXTREMELY CLOGGED with dust and debris!! Very unhealthy for guests..Potential fire hazard..I removed and cleaned the filter..Cleaning it takes 5 minutes!! The AC worked fine but the filthy filter was disgusting! A little more attention to detail and this could have been a 5 star review ! I give this location a B+..

No complaints at all. Beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. Quiet rooms. Helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was decent. Pool was clean but a little cold. Housekeeping was provided each day of the Stay. Overall nice facility! We will be back when passing thru.

Another great stay. This is our go to hotel when we travel to Peoria. My son attends Bradley, so we visit several times a year. Rooms are super clean. I love that they have liquid soap in the bathrooms. Breakfast is very good. Staff is always friendly.

Whenever I work in this area I insist on staying at this Holiday Inn Express. I love the women at the front desk who are extremely positive & if able, they will fulfill any request that you have. Inside and out is always clean ,the halls are quiet and the beds & pillows are comfortable. In the morning Lisa always prepares a wonderful breakfast with many varieties and never over cooked. I have stayed here several times now and have never had a room with a broken fridge or an uncomfortable bed or any problems for that matter. I will be coming back here every chance I can. I highly recommend this place.

One of the cleanest, most friendly Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in. Ashley at the front desk was very helpful. We loved the bed, soft yet firm. We had wanted to stay downtown along the river. But this hotel had far better reviews. And the reviews were correct. Clean & Friendly. And DT Peoria restaurants were just across the river.

The check-in process was quick, especially since according to the clerk, I was the last one to check-in for the night (it was only 10:15 pm). I was given a first floor room, just past the elevators. (Never, ever my choice). My key didn't work on first try so I had to return to the desk to get that fixed. She was apologetic. They also made me sign some paper work about quiet hours (10 pm to 7 am I think) and no room parties etc. Upon walking in this first night, I noticed the lobby garbage's were overflowing. Half empty pizza boxes were strewn about and several groups of parents were gathered around the TV visiting. (I later learned there was a high school softball team staying there.) I get it was late, but still not the first impression I would expect. I guess it's ok to hang out as a group in the lobby after 10, just not in your rooms. The room was nice and clean. There was a microwave and mini-fridge. It had a weird, what I would call a shrink couch as seating. I would have preferred two chairs and a coffee table. Since it was just me, I made it work. It was a little noisy for the first hour I was there on Friday night. There were teen girls going up and down the hall laughing and talking loud. My room overlooked the parking lot, which wasn't noisy. The king size bed was comfortable with dual nightstands and lots of lighting. Plentiful pillows were there too. The bathroom was clean, had a nice sized counter and allowed for all my toiletries. I had enough towels. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash if you didn't bring yours. The shower had a shaving shelf which was great! (It was a walk-in shower). The breakfast is amazing. Probably one of the best I've ever seen. It included scrambled eggs, buttermilk biscuits, and bacon along with your standard free breakfast fare (yogurt, cereal, pastries, fruit). The staff was quick to fill the items as they were depleted. Saturday late evening I was again disappointed by the lobby. The overflowing garbage was back, along with the party parents (again, I arrived back after the supposed "quiet time". This time, it was cupcakes all over the place, including in the hallway. There were several that had either been dropped or tossed and landed frosting side down on the carpet. They have a limited supply of alcohol in the little store which was ok. Other than the Bass Pro shop next door, there are a few restaurants and a Wal-Mart just around the corner. They did provide housekeeping both nights I stayed which was appreciated. I don't know if I would stay here again. I don't feel like the room was worth what I paid. I've stayed in way nicer for less.

This was our sixth stay at this hotel. The front desk recognized us and gave us a warm greeting. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet has lots of options. The hotel sits back off a street with a Bass Pro shop adjacent to the parking lot. There is very little traffic and outside noise as a result. You can still be at restaurants and shopping within 3-8 minutes. This is our go-to hotel when we visit the area.

The front desk staff are approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Housekeeping is consistent and just as friendly. The free breakfast buffet is really good! They have a variety of food and is good for the pickiest of eaters. The view is nice and secluded. Not busy at all and it’s next to Bass Pro Shop and a restaurant within walking distance. During my stay it was quiet and a really relaxing experience. Pool is warm and clean. Overall, this is probably the best hotel to book during your stay. It’s super clean and nothing is outdated or dirty. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next visit!

We returned from our fourth stay at the Holiday Inn Express East Peoria. We stayed for move in weekend at Bradley University. As per our previous stays, the staff attentive and the hotel was very clean. The hotel went above and beyond by allowing us to have a large item shipped there prior to our arrival. They had it noted in the computer and mentioned it when we checked in. This will be our hotel of choice over the next four years while my son attends Bradley.
