羅德霍恩鄉村別墅及華麗公寓(Roundthorn Country House & Luxury Apartments)

This is a really good quality hotel, excellent staff. We were given a free upgrade to an Apar**ent. Excellent breakfast.

This is one of the few hotels where the room looks just as it does in the photographs. We stayed here for four nights in June as I was doing the Macmillan Mighty Hike. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apar**ent separate from the main house. It was comfortable, clean, and modern, with plenty of room. The area is just a few minutes from the town, with great views, and is quiet. It isn't cheap but it's a great place to stay when visiting Penrith.

Stayed here overnight travelling south. Lovely setting with fantastic view of the country side. Hotel beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was well presented and tasted excellent, size of portion was more than enough. Menu was good selection. Room very comfortable and view out of window beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel as a very pleasant place to stay just outside Penrith.. definitely come again..

We stayed here for 1 child free night. The hotel was lovely. The room was clean, well maintained and quiet. The view over the Eden Valley was lovely. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We used our Tesco vouchers so our stay was very cheap. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Delighted by the provisions made for the disabled, and by the kindness and courtesy of the staff, who went out of their way to make sure we and our disabled friend were comfortable. Very helpful, very flexible, very pleasant.

We found Roundthorn Country House after doing a google map search of things to do in Penrith. The venue was easy to find with spectacular views We were seated immediately, in a lovely quiet room, with two other couples and asked what we wanted to drink instantly, as well as any dietary requirements. Tea for two, which came within minutes. This followed only a few minutes later by a lovely afternoon tea platter, served on a very unique stand. Beautiful savioury and sweet selection, far too much to have in one sitting, and so we were offered a refil on our tea first which we took advantage of and a takeaway cake box for any remainders, all of which was so quickly done, very attentive and very very organised Thank you to all the staff who served us that day, it was a very nice treat in a very grand setting.

Everything was to hand and nothing was an effort our comfort was paramount to everyone. Views were stunning and private in a wonderful country setting.

The room we stayed in(room7) was cold. We had to ask for a heater. There was no heat at all in the shower. No where to put toilet bags and shower impossible to use because of the door configuration Breakfast was good

Asked for a quiet comfortable room with a good bed and mattress; they delivered and the bath was a joy to soak in. Very good value for money and great views to boot from my room on what turned out to be an exceptionally warm May day. Staff were very friendly.
