My daughter and I stayed at Lyndene after visiting Cannon Hall Farm. Paul greeted us and made us very welcome. Our room was spacious, very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and fresh milk kept refrigerated on the landing. The breakfast was excellent, which we ordered on arrival so that you had exactly your choice, brilliant. Your both doing a first class job! Thank you and hope to stay again.

Having just returned from a night at The Lyndene we would just like to say what a wonderful place it is . Paul and his wife were so very welcoming and communication was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble . The rooms were very comfortable, exceptionally clean, well appointed and quiet . Breakfast was first class , lovely fresh produce and plenty of it. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone wishing to visit the area. Very well located if you have a function to attend at the near by Cubley Hall .

Stayed for a night at this wonderful bed and breakfast while attending the Penistone show…wish we could have stayed longer! Our room was lovely, with a fabulous en-suite bathroom. It was so comfortable, with everything we needed provided. Sophie and Paul were great hosts, with great local knowledge (great restaurant recommendation….Ti Amo) and breakfast was plentiful, with cereals, juices plus a cooked breakfast of your choice. We would definitely recommend Lyndene, and hope to return in the future.

Lyndene is a first class B & B! Genial host Paul is very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Clean and comfy room with excellent facilities. Paul also produces an excellent breakfast with a choice of cereals, cooked breakfasts and hot drinks. A very enjoyable stay all round. Will return!

Thank you Paul and Sophie for a really lovely stay . This really was the best b and b we have ever stayed in … everything was perfect . You really do have a beautiful home , you were both great hosts and the breakfasts top notch ! The attention to detail really shows how much you care about your business , and it felt like we were staying with friends as you were both so hospitable and friendly . We recommend this place one hundred percent !!

We had travelled to Penistone to visit a friend and this was the first time staying at this guest house. Paul instantly made us feel welcome and the B&B had a really homely feel to it and was very comfortable. We were offered off road parking if required but we found that parking just outside was fine. There were three rooms located at this property and we found it very quite and relaxing. We had a double room which was comfortable with modern decor and ensuite facilities. We felt very comfortable for the stay and Paul explained everything to us to ensure we had all the information that we needed. A full english breakfast was provided and is cooked fresh to order, absolutely amazing! A wonderful host, a wonderful property and we hope to return again.

Couldn't fault any of it, from a very warm and friendly welcome from Paul, then showing us our room, which was stunning, warm and just generally beautiful. Had a nice meal in town, and then a lovely night's sleep in such a comfy bed. Breakfast was beautiful, served by Paul and his wife, again, a lovely warm friendly atmosphere. It is definitely the best B and B we've stayed at, and we will definitely be back. Thank you Jayne and Tim X

Very well situated for walking into town. Easy parking in quiet road. Room was good with comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. We would like to have been left alone in our room to settle in and relax. However, the host over stayed his welcome quizzing us about breakfast options and asking us to order there and then. A simple order form would have been better, leaving us to fill it in at leasure and leaving it downstairs.
