My Island Home Gili Air

This place is simply AMAZING! the area is really quite, 2 min from a beautiful beach. The staff is so kind and helpfull. The swimming pool, the big room, everything was great! A special mention to the breakfast, the best i had on my indonesian holiday. I will come back for sure. 10 stars

My Island Home is the perfect home from home, and was ideal for our inter generational holiday. Each individual spacious, high- ceilinged 'lodge' offers plenty of space and privacy to its residents. Beds are super-sized and super-comfy, linen's pristine, pillows are just right - and the air con is very efficient. Each lodge comes with a large well equipped bathroom (showers are hot and very fast flowing - towels are generous) and there's a separate walk in wardrobe dressing zone. The main room also contains a long desk - tea and coffee making facilities - and a fridge. (The comforts of home in tasteful local style) - Lovely. Each lodge has a spacious veranda, with a table and chairs - and this extra private space is especially nice for the fab breakfasts made to order whether you're an early or late riser - by the lovely attentive staff who really made all of us feel at home. It was the perfect base for our family reunion. The children loved the pool (we all did) and we'd bikes ready there for us on arrival - so we could explore the twisting trails across and around Gili Air, visit every beach, take sunset boat trips, snorkel and swim with turtles, dive, kite board and eat - rest - and play on the beach - trying not to count down the days as our dream holiday drew towards its close. We all hope to go back again as soon as we can and stay at 'Our' Island Home - again. Thank you.

INCREDIBLE! Karla and her team were so accommodating when we needed to find emergency accommodation. My Island Home is a brand new set of bungalows, with construction only finishing earlier this month. The rooms were lovely, with lovely comfy beds and the fluffiest towels. The breakfast was also very nice and fresh. The pool was nice and a great way to cool off. Located 300 metres from the beach and restaurants, it’s in a great location. There is a small kitchen area with fresh drinking water available. The showers are fresh water from the local well. A fantastic experience, made incredible by the great staff. I would definitely recommend and will be back if I can in Gili Air again!! Thank you Karla and team!!!!
