蘭菲公園旅館

Visit to Carthouse as my partner was working and we needed somewhere close by to stay for a few nights! This cottage could be really lovely if it was clean! When we arrived the first thing I noticed was cobwebs and bugs! There was cobwebs everywhere, in every room! Alot of dead flies in window sills and on carpets also some flying around, with other various bugs such as woodlouces crawling around. I understand that it's the countryside and that there will be bugs and cobwebs but there was ALOT and this had definitely not been cleaned before we had a arrived. Behind the wardrobes and under the sofas were discussing! The kitchen was ok, cobwebs in the oven!! There was slot of dust and general dirt around. On the plus side this cottage is in the middle of a beautiful countryside, with beautiful views. A lovely pub close by called the Dial inn, the food there was amazing!! Some really beautiful beaches close by that we enjoyed visiting!

The Cwtch On the plus side, the place was cheap, the towels and bed linen was clean and the place was conveniently located. However, I think the owner has given up with the "Cwych". The paint was peeling, there's rotten woodwork on the outer and shower doors and a broken inspection cover in car park. The remote control on TV didn't work and neither did the WiFi. When we stayed, the the adjoining guest had left their own dogs on their own to entertain us with their howling. There was no tea/coffee or milk in the room, and no hand soap.
