"We stayed at Magpie Pachhu Village Resort from May 3rd to May 5th, 2025, and had booked a magpie suite room, expecting a peaceful and memorable honeymoon. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we checked in, we could clearly hear conversations and noises from the adjacent room. Despite raising the issue with the reception multiple times, no effective action was taken. On the second day, they shifted us to another room – but to our dismay, it was right next to the previous one, and the same issue persisted. We could even hear the snoring from the next room, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable and awkward. Despite calling reception nearly 100 times and repeatedly requesting to speak to the manager, no one addressed our concerns. We felt ignored and frustrated throughout. For a resort charging close to ₹20,000 for a two-night stay, this level of service is simply unacceptable. Adding to our disappointment, the food served was also below average and did not meet the standards expected from a resort of this category. Overall, what was supposed to be a special honeymoon trip turned into a stressful and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this resort to couples or anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in Pelling."
