We stayed here during our car trip from Medan ti Jakarta. So we expected to have a quality rest and we got it. The room was comfort and clean. The location was not in the city central so the situation was quite calm. There were many good restaurants near the hotel.

I had booked this hotel based on the good reviews. When I checked-in, was quite happy to see the size of the room and the bed. However once I called it a night the nightmare started. I started feeling itchy. Initially I thought it was mosquitoes. However it got painful and blisters appeared on my body. When I removed the sheets I saw many bed bugs crawling!! I immediately went to reception and showed them the marks on my body. They were gracious to change my room immediately and sent a person along to move my stuff. The person who cam along also saw the bed bugs and apologized. However my sleep after a tiring day was ruined. Did not expect this from a well rated hotel. The maintenance really needs to step up. Apart from it the experience at morning breakfast was not great. No staff paying any attention and seemed like avoiding eye contact. The table was not laid, even after seeing guest seating there. All in all hospitality factor was lacking. I have to.mention staff at the reception and lobby were quite good and helpful. Based on reviews the hotel perhaps is good but personally my experience didn't turn out well.

As a first timer who stay in The Zuri Hotel i had a great time during my stay here! Well mannered and friendly staff, nice room, good location great ambience and DELISH food! One of the best hotel in Pekanbaru i must say. Highly recommended.👍👍👍
