格靈雷蒂別墅飯店

Luogo favoloso, atmosfera molto accogliente.... sembra di essere in un romanzo di Walter Scott! Personale davvero gentile e professionale, il ristorante è eccellente e offre piatti con prodotti tipici ma rivisitati. Unica (piccola) pecca è che manca il buffet con colazione continentale; ottima invece la scelta per la colazione salata.

Wir waren für 2 Tage im Cingletie Hotel und besonders gefallen hat uns die unkomplizierte Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und wir hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Das absolute Highlight war das Dinner mit 7-Gänge Tasting-Menu. Jeder Gang war einfach köstlich und von der Menge her perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist ein Spaziergang über das Gelände und durch den „Walled Garden“ wo man wunderschön und ruhig sitzen kann.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at our very favourite place. Once again we got such a warm welcome from all the staff who make Cringletie so special. Excellent food, service and accommodation. Congratulations to Iain and all the kitchen staff and to Jonathan and Barry who looked after us so expertly, as did both the receptionists. Thanks to you all at Cringletie. We have already booked our return in February for a birthday celebration and another stay in July. Looking forward to returning. Ian and Marion.

We have always enjoyed our stays at Cringletie, especially the food. The structure of the dinner menu has changed to a 7 course tasting menu, with an optional 2 additional courses. This change is allowing the chefs extra flexibility and creativity, and they are delivering even more delicious and interesting food as a result. One of the many things we enjoy about staying at Cringletie is the warm welcome and respectful friendliness of the staff. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming, and is one of our happy places.

We have been to Cringletie house now several times and we seem to love it more each time. The owners and staff are so friendly and seem to welcome us back so generously and it is so relaxing there. We love their cuisine which is a highlight of any stay there, prepared wonderfully by Iain Gourlay and his amazing team. There are superb walks surrounding the area and the centre of Peebles has many interesting shops and galleries a 5 minute drive away. There are several border towns within easy driving distance from the hotel. It was yet again a terrific stay in the Selkirk suite. ( with so many TV screens you lose count!)

From the moment we arrived to the point of departure we could not have asked for more. The service we received, from every single member of staff, was exceptional, each going above and beyond to ensure that our special day went without a hitch. A day which, for all the right reasons, will be remembered for ever. The food, both at breakfast and dinner, was amazing and the changes made by your outstanding chef to accommodate our dietary needs was very much appreciated. The reception rooms together with the dining room afford a most relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings with walled garden provide pleasant walks. We very much look forward to returning.
