Eigentlich schönes Hotel auch vom Stil. Unser Zimmer war nicht sauber lagen überall Haaren rum, mussten sie zwei mal kommen bis es sauber war und es stank fürchterlich in der Küche. Zum glück konnte man die Türen schliessen zum schlafzimmer sonst wäre es über Nacht nicht aushaltbar gewesen. Für all die Mängel kam uns das Hotel gar nicht entgegen sind so oder so sehr langsam. Lage gut und schön.

Die Pool Villas sind außerhalb der Hotelanlage, wodurch man sich nicht ganz sicher fühlt. Zudem war die telefonanlage defekt, so dass man nur mit seinem Handy im Hotel anrufen konnt. Achtung: Sel-Catering, keine Minibar oder ähnliches in der Pool Villa. Ich hatte es mir alles in allem schöner vorgestellt.

Im Hotel Abalone, das etwas erhöht mit herrlicher Aussicht aufs Meer liegt, haben wir lediglich im Restaurant Blues gegessen. Der Raum ist angenehm eingerichtet mit grossen Glasfronten. Die Korbstühle sind sehr bequem. Unsere Bedienung war sehr nett, das Essen in jeder Beziehung sehr gut.

Die Nähe zum Strand

Excellent service, classy and luxurious accommodation, great food in-house restaurant, breakfast were fantastic and more than what we expected , staff were super friendly and always helpful. i can recommend this boutique style hotel. Our family had an excellent stay with lovely views and luke warm swimming pools. There’s spa treatments too.

Beautiful property overlooking the ocean with a short walk down to the beach. We stayed in a beautiful loft style bedroom that was spacious with high quality amenities including robes. The bed and linens were comfortable and the room quiet. The pools are lovely and peaceful, offering a refreshing dip in the heat. The restaurant was excellent with good service. We ate dinner on the patio, watching the sun set. A fantastic night’s stay.

We stayed for two nights in a lovely sea facing loft room. Disappointing that there was no soap bars or vanity kits as they were out of stock. The most disappointing part was the shambolic breakfasts,which whilst the food was very good the delivery was a nightmare The breakfast room was under staffed and badly managed The lack of interest by the reception staff was not helpful. I think we have stayed six times and this was our third stay since October. I don’t think we will stay again as the breakfast fiasco puts you in a bad frame of mind all morning. Fortunately lots of lovely alternatives in Paternoster.

Very comfortable loft room. Beautiful views over the sand and sea. A stroll for m waterfront and quaint shops and bars and eateries. Hotel restaurant is great, once again beautiful views. Staff attentive. Two small pools and seating areas.
