Firstly SUPER CLEAN! Inside AND Outside. CLEEEAN! Usually I hate hotels with carpet, but it was so clean I genuinely felt comfortable taking my socks off!!! And after one full night of walking basically barefoot through the room the bottom of my feet were clean!!!!! And the beds are SO COMFORTABLE!!!! I really only have two negative things to say which I will stay below.
The Front Desk lady at first Kind of acted as if I was slightly bothersome, Which rubbed Me the wrong way at first especially after she informed me that there was a $50 deposit which was not told to me earlier over the phone or before purchasing a room or after. And at first she was uncaring. But they were busy, I have a job as well and sometimes I can be slightly shorter with some customers, it's never anything personal, we're human, but at the end of it she actually made an exception to the deposit because I was not informed. Which totally made up what I felt at first. She actually turned out to be very kind and caring. so this negative one actually wasn't that negative.. lol
Now .. the breakfast 😂. PITIFUL!!! It's not nasty. Or gross.. it's just, bleh.. beagles. Bread. Maybe ONE hot dish if your lucky. Only decent thing is One Waffles maker for a HUGE hotel. Which most hotels That serve breakfast. So again it's not bad, just nothing special.. one could even say subpar, I mean the Comfort suites which is right across the street which is much cheaper has two times better breakfast.. but nothing compares to the Home2 rooms. The rooms make up for the lousy breakfast.
The bathrooms!! Have FULL bottles of really good conditioner, shampoo on my antibody wash as well as hand soap and lotion. The Smart Tvs are AWESOME! Incredibly high definition and pretty big!! And the walls are pretty thick and soundproof, you might hear a door open or close next to you once in awhile but you don't really hear people talking or any noises from your neighbor other than the occasional door shutting or opening.
And I just have to speak on the breakfast part one more time, their breakfast bar the way it's set up you would think it was going to be so extravagant. When it's worse than. Comfort suites and comfort suites set. Is ... Let's just say not humbled, lol. It definitely less extravagant come up with the breakfast is decent, I have at least two to three hot items.
Fix your breakfast and I'll give you five stars all day on everything!!!
Oh yeah they also have a gym, as well as fire pits outside which is pretty cool!! And my room, which was the king sweet came with a full size couch, ottoman and what looks like a half kitchen basically with a dishwasher and full sink and even dishes!!
I run a business in Fort Pierce and have been dealing with the hotel for many years. I make multiple reservations for groups during the months of February, March, and April. It is always such a pleasure to work with the staff at the Holiday Inn Express. The people at the front desk are always pleasant, the rooms are well kept and clean, breakfast is wonderful, and the property is always updated. I want to extend a big thank you to Kelsie Stickles the sales manager of the hotel. I deal with quite a few hotels and she is by far the best sales manager I deal with. Kelsie always gets back to me in a timely manner and everything is always spot on with the reservations. If you want to stay at a quality hotel this is the place!!
The staff was friendly, but the owner should be ashamed. The room lacked so much maintenance and was so beat up. Big scratches on the door (from a dog, I'm guessing), rusted hinges, toilet rocked, toilet seat so old it the finish was wearing off, old plumbing just left in the wall, caulk job looked like from a 5 year old and was black with mildew, smelled bad (couldn't quite figure out what the smell was) and the white comforter was stained - the first one so bad I exchanged for clean one, but got another and another(!) stained one. Also advertised as ocean view (we knew it was across the street), but couldn't see from 2nd floor because of the dunes. The TV set up ****** - only got Pluto - had I known I could have brought my passwords for streaming. This place could be so cute though - needs a handy person to spend minimal money to make it sooooo much more inviting. One positive is had great water pressure and nice hot water.

訪訪客I stayed here for one night while traveling to Miami. The lighting surrounding the hotel is weak, with numerous dark areas. The lighting at the entrance of the lobby was turned off. There was a large trash bag sitting beside the elevator leading to the room. The evening clerk was sullen and unwelcoming. She did not acknowledge my Choice Privileges membership. The room had areas of damage to the carpet, with debris scattered beside the sofa, and obviously not cleaned well. The bathroom had been upgraded, especially the vanity and mirror, but when using the shower the tub spigot turned in the wall. The shower diverter did not operate properly resulting in weak shower pressure since the majority of the water was going into the tub. Upon check out, the clerk was using her mobile phone to speak in a foreign language. She took my room card, but did not interrupt her call. I would have reported the issue with the shower if she had interrupted her call. I would never stay at this hotel again.
I really love being at this location. It's close to everything and the people here are very professional and wonderful people. I will always come back. Thank yall for allowing us to stay . We always feel like we are home here.
