Former Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. We had an amazing time here! Three of us booked a tent for three people, it had bunk beds and a queen sized bed and slept us all very comfortably. You have a private bathroom and shower with additional bathrooms near the camp store. There’s a ton of fun snack and etc. to buy at the camp store and a ton of things you can use and take for free (only thing to note is you have to pay through bank transfer if the workers are not around). The owners were amazing and offered pick up and transportation to Seorak bus or train station. We papagoed any complicated communication but were able to talk mostly fine with our extremely limited Korean skills. Highly, highly recommend and I will definitely book here again!!

我們是來自德國的家庭,住了兩晚,我們對住宿–非常滿意,房東非常友好和樂於助人。我們實際比預定的早一天到,他非常照顧我們,甚至邀請我們吃飯!溫馨的地方設施非常齊全–大電視,廚房備齊齊全,牀也非常舒服。我們真的很感謝老闆的精彩款待。再次非常感謝!

it’s walking distance to Nami ferry terminal. My family and I stayed here. And it’s very satisfying. The guest house still knew just 2 years. Smells new and everything new. Provide full amenities and kitchen stuffs. The family owner very helpful. They even help us to send 2 trips to MRT station. Thank you so much. Definitely worth it.

因爲是冬季旅行,所以提前拜託了暖氣,但是因爲沒有提前暖氣,所以有點冷。 而且,因爲沒有地板暖氣,所以冬天使用起來有點不怎麼樣。 除此之外,設施很乾淨,景色也很好,所以夏天去會很好。

哇...養老金太可愛了,舒適,大,乾淨,便宜,備有一切!(看起來和他們網站上的圖片一模一樣。)景色也很壯觀!從晨間平靜的花園走一小段,在7-Eleven拐角處,所以太方便了!主人似乎也很甜,雖然我的韓國朋友是和他說話的。我一定會再次入住,在不久的將來! 我祈禱上帝保佑你的生意多年!感謝您的奉獻,讓我們有“家”的感覺!:) 來自美麗陽光明媚的加州的粉絲,目前住在首爾! 多洛雷斯

An absolute hidden gem!! Close to nami island and the Garden of morning calm and many other tourist attractions. Amazing view, super cool cafe! We stumbled across it on accident and so glad we stayed here for 2 nights as a family. The rooms are so unique. Loved it and would always come back. Owner does not speak English but was so sweet.
