If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Kerala, Coconut Lagoon in Kumarakom is the perfect choice. The resort brilliantly combines nature and history, allowing guests to stay in breathtaking, restored 150-year-old traditional Tharavad mansions. Set right against the serene Vembanad Lake, the location is incredibly peaceful.
The highlights of our stay included relaxing by the gorgeous lakeside pool, taking the complimentary sunset cruise, and getting our tea from ”Chaya Chechi” at her charming floating tea shop. The authentic Kerala food was fantastic, and the serene atmosphere made for a truly rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a beautiful, culturally rich retreat!

Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way.
Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff.
Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment.
Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean.
Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.
