齊索斯飯店(Kissos Hotel)

Dated hotel, meant to be jacuzzi in the pool but it's not working, meant to be an indoor pool but it's closed, breakfast poor, burnt mini croissants rock hard fried bread , room was dated, old radio built into headboard but it didn't work, fridge has to be hired 35 euros a week but it does include the safe, entertainment staff Romy is from over the border and blatantly prefers people from over the border, our previous experiences of entertainment staff (other hotels ) who treated everyone the same regardless where they from, much nicer than this one, the bar staff are nice and waiting staff good ,reception staff ok maids ok, hotel information on holiday sites state its near a beach, very wrong, half hour walk to beach, no access at end of street, you can still have a nice time using kissos hotel as a base and hanging around the pool a few days, use local bus 615 from stop outside McDonald's 1.50 euro to corrallia beach, can't go wrong as its the terminus for the bus , sun beds 5 euro for one or 7.50 for 2, shop toilets and cafe there or go the other way the 615 terminates by the harbour.

Dinner was nice and good choice, breakfast not that much. The hotel room in need of repair, very old furniture. The staff is very grumpy not the best atmosphere, should improve in this in my opinion to have more customers.. Unfortunately here is no private beach nearby. Side roads are abandoned and full of rubbish. You need to take a bus or walk 15 minutes to yhe nearest venus beach ( very noisy) crowded. The beach is nice but not enjoyable. There are restaurants, but you would want something culturally different as greek cultures, unfortunately there are not. Not much to do near the hotel. In the bus stop no information at all , like what number the bus is or destinations.

J'ai choisi cet hôtel car mon séjour se passait fin mars / début avril et dans les prestations il y avait une piscine intérieure chauffée et un hammam. En réalité la piscine intérieure n'était pas chauffée, elle était verte à mon arrivée et le hammam ne marchait pas. Le personnel est très agréable sauf le manager qui trouve des excuses à tout et tend à être irascible. La propreté est excellent. Je n'ai pris que B&B et le petit-déjeuner était de moindre qualité. Les viandes (bacon, jambon etc.) étaient toutes industrielles et compressées, le jus d'orange n'avait d'orange que la couleur ( industriel et sucré). Pas de viennoiseries, heureusement qu'il y avait des oeufs! La piscine extérieure était agréable et grande mais trop froide pour se baigner à cette époque de l'année. Donc, satisfaction mitigée.

Fijn hotel, goede ligging. Dagelijkse schoonmaak, goed ontbijt. Airco perfect en was echt nodig :) Ruime kamer aan het zwembad. Auto huren is wel een must…lekker het hele eiland ontdekken. Centrale ligging rondom heel veel restaurants

В отеле всё старое и разваливается, уборка просто жуткая. Чужие волосы будут с Вами с моменты заезда и до самого выезда. Один раз с матраса слезла простыня...какого цвета пятен там только не было. Противно было спать оставшееся время. Помимо простыни, застелила еще и пододеяльник, чтобы быть подальше от всего этого. Ванна маленькая, скользкая, неудобной формы, всё время скатываешься к центру чаши. Из гигиенических наборов - 2 мини мыльца. Розетки в тех местах, где они будут удобны горничной, чтобы воткнуть туда вилку пылесоса, а не Вам. Рядом с кроватью не надейтесь их увидеть. Входные двери по инерции хлопают с таким звуком, что Вы будете проинформированы о времени возвращения в номер всех соседей. Всё очень и очень старое. Персонал всегда улыбается и говорит: да-да-да, но делать никто ничего не спешит. Завтраки однообразные и среднего качества. Но голодными не уйдете. Пляжа рядом с отелем нет, нужно идти минут 20-30 до отеля Venus, чтобы покупаться. Все так называемые достопримечательности тоже далеко - около получаса в сторону центра. Рядом только царские гробницы - пустырь с камнями под палящим солнцем. Так себе удовольствие. Всё, что находится в центре обошли за 1 день. Поэтому по вечерам делать было нечего. По еде в кафе рядом - дорого и невкусно. Вчетвером ели на 100-150 евро. При этом не объедитесь и не насладитесь. Киприоты говорят, что тот, кто был на Кипре - в Турцию не поедет. Видимо я - исключение. Теперь только туда. Разок посмотрела и достаточно. Послековидная разруха, никаких развлечений, никаких толком достопримечательностей и вечные жалобы всех на жизнь, при этом полное нежелание что-либо делать и менять.

The establishment was quite charming, and the staff exhibited exceptional friendliness. Our accommodations, though basic, were aesthetically pleasing and overlooked the pool. The pricing was reasonable, and there were several dining options in the vicinity. The breakfast provided met the expected standards.

The hotel is in a great location for site seeing and also close at hand is a good variety of bars and restaurants. The local shops are very expensive but Lidl is 20 min walk away if you want to save a few Euros. The hotel in general is clean and well kept, most reception staff are friendly. The food is very low quality and is a disgrace thankfully we were only B&B and stopped bothering going down for breakfast after day 2. There is a fridge and safe in the room but they wanted an extra 35E for the use of them. No change of bedding or towels the entire week only maid service was to empty our bin, they are there just on thier phones rather than cleaning. We never struggled to get a sun lounger but in busy season I would imagine it would be a different story as not that many. Its a pity a few tweaks and this could be a little gem but sadly I would not return

This is a very basic hotel. The grounds and pool are lovely but the room I had was tired. Blown laminate and basic furnishings. Breakfast was limited but I did speak to people who said the evening meal was very good as you chose off a menu. I saw the young cook drop a croissant, pick it up and put it back. He was challenged about this and walked off smiling. Not a good advertisement. On our visit there was a junior football tournament and we had 4 football teams under 15’s staying at the hotel along with groups of mechanics, electricians, chefs and nurses. There were lots of young people most very well behaved and polite. Some corridor noise morning and night as they left early for their courses and went to bed late. This seems popular hotel for large educational groups/schools. My room was close to the smokers area and people do smoke on their balconies. Air conditioning was good but we had mild weather. Not sure about high summer. Plenty of bars and restaurants around the area and nice walk to the sea, harbour and mall. Fabulous pizza at Martellis around the corner. We paid 300 each for the week so it was good value. Hotel staff are lovely. Receptionist are very nice and dealt with any problem (football group throwing things off balcony or different groups playing loud music) with humour and efficiency. Hotel manager is visible and walks around the property regularly. We would stay here again if the price was right but may upgrade to one of the rooms by the lazy river.

Found the reception staff friendly, especially Tina, but bar and breakfast staff are miserable. Was nice to have some water in room on arrival. Check in 2pm and out 12pm which I think is generous. We kept our room until 5:30pm on day of departure for about 30 euros. Pool area is fine, can always get a sun bed. Bearing in we arrived mid July, there was no rush for a sun bed early morning. Both pools allow ball games and inflatables which can be annoying after a while. I think this should be limited to one or the other. The rooms are adequate. Had a nice, sunny balcony above the main entrance. It got the late afternoon sun and a lovely sunset. Comfortable bed and air con is good. Good little shop in hotel selling water, towels etc. I was a bit disappointed with the location - 10 min bus ride to the centre of the resort to the harbour. If you were walking it would be about 30 mins but the heat in July meant we used the bus. There are local bars and restaurants if you do want to stay local. The best by far was O’Neills across the road. Tasty food and reasonably priced. Best cocktails! Nearest proper supermarket is 25 minute walk (Lidl). Taxis are extortionate - £10 to travel 1.1miles. Busses are 1.50 for a single or 5 euros for the day. Very disappointing that the hotel charge for basic amenities. Appalling that in a hot country you are expected to pay 5 euro per day for fridge to cool your water. The fridge is in your room, switched on behind a locked cupboard. I think this massively let us down as you would just expect it. Plus if you want a kettle, iron etc they’re all chargeable daily. Breakfast was not good. Mostly tinned fruit, hot dogs and watery scrambled egg. The Wi-Fi only works intermittently in rooms. Pool bar is expensive - 4 euros for a local beer. All in all, it is a 3* accommodation however I think there are definitely areas for improvement. It was very average.
