比納萊斯傳統餐廳飯店(Kiniras Traditional Hotel & Restaurant)

Le patron de cet hôtel est aux petits soins. Il fait de tout pour rendre service et parle en français. Le personnel en général est très gentil. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est excellent. La position est idéale et l'immeuble a beaucoup de charme.

Hotel pittoresco sicuramente si distingue dalle strutture commerciali della città (del lungomare in particolare) per arredo, colori e struttura. Situato in zona pedonale della parte alta della città, è vicino alla stazione dei bus e ai bar e locali. Dotato di un discreto ristorante con piatti tipici. Aspetti non positivi: colazione minimale (dolci praticamente assenti), info su città ed escursioni carenti, se avete bisogno di lasciare i bagagli al check out in attesa di partire, non esiste uno spazio (i nostri gli hanno messi in sala ristorante!), nonostante avessimo chiesto un metodo di pagamento (una carta diversa da quella della prenotazione), hanno fatto come credevano loro. Wi-Fi zoppicante. Per finire ciò che inizialmente ti sembra tradizionale poi lo vedi in realtà come vetusto. In sintesi accettabile senza entusiasmo.

We had a very enjoyable stay with George and his family at this beautiful, quirky hotel. He happi!y moved us when we found the first room difficult and we were very come then. Although very old this hotel has all mod cons and eating in the charming garden is delightful. We would stay there again, for sure. Thank you George

Excellent accueil de George et de sa famille. Le plaisir de partager une très bonne cuisine locale et des histoires Cypriotes. Nous sommes arrivées à 14h30 et George nous concocté un menu avec des plats locaux excellents. Nous recommandons !

Restaurant had een raar ongemakkelijk onthaal. Rode wijn was compleet verzuurd. Communicatie met zijn personeel was niet erg respectvol. Eten was ondermaat, ben erg achteraf niet goed van geweest. Kat zat continu te janken rond het restaurant

Very bad experience. The food of the Taverna was good and our bill was supposed to be 33.50€ for a mixed grill (23.50€) and two glasses of wine (10€). But for our surprise when the bill came it was actually 49.50€. We kindly asked the manager why we got charged 16€ more for something that said “FOOD” in the bill and he said it was for the salad we ate. I asked him why it didn’t say “SALAD” in the bill instead of “FOOD” and he said it’s just not in the system. Anyway the mixed grill we ordered already came with sauce, bread and salad so we told him we didn’t order an extra salad, so he proceeded to start making up stories about how I personally ordered a bigger salad when he supposedly told me the one included in the mixed grill was small (which they never served us by the way), but this conversation never happened as my partner made the order as he speaks Greek and I don’t. He was having a discussion about the bill with my partner in Greek and when I tried to talk to him and explain that I didn’t order this salad he proceeded to cut me off and say “We’re talking in Greek” and didn’t let me speak. He insisted we had to pay for what we ate and obviously this was not the issue, we were ready to pay this scam but we wanted to know what exactly we were paying. Even if it was true and he gave us a bigger salad (just because he wanted) isn’t 16€ too much for a basic greek salad? Well, who knows. Avoid this place or be very careful with this man if you go.

What a lovely family run hotel . Traditional and friendly. Room small but very clean and air con worked well . Bathroom spotless . Hotel is old so a bit scruffy but full of character . Great breakfast with good choice of local ingredients . Restaurant a highlight , great food and wine . Staff very friendly and helpful . George , the owner , very welcoming and we were sorry we only stayed for two nights . Highly recommend .
