I booked through their website; advising the hotel that we were 3 single adults and would be arriving late. I booked the largest room that slept 6. (Two king beds and a sofa bed.) expecting that each of us would sleep comfortably in our own bed after a long flight. We checked in late - 12:30 a.m. We went directly to our room and I prepared to make up the sofa bed. No linens - except for an extra pillow. I went directly down to the front desk to request linens; no one was there. (Their website says their front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.) We improvised by breaking down the linens on one of the king beds so each of us could have our own space. We did not sleep well. In the morning when we checked out, I brought up the issue of the linens to the manager. She told that the issue was my fault, that I needed to have advised the hotel in advance that I required the sofa bed be made up. She told me that because they are a two star hotel and not a five star hotel I should not have expected to have linens in the room. I asked her if she would modify my bill, specifically comp the breakfast, (which was mediocre at best). Hard “no” and she told me that the next time I stay at their hotel I should advise them in advance of my bedding needs. This room cost $600/night.
