Just had the most incredible six nights at Borneo Eagle Resort, the service was just superb, the staff made our stay amazing, they could not do enough for us whether it was anticipating our needs or remembering exactly what we liked. It is a very remote resort but the benefits of that is that there are not thousands of tourists around and you get true relaxation and Tranquility.  the food is ordered in advance and the chef was really accommodating to changes and menu tweaks, he managed to cook brilliant cuisine from every single continent! The villas were beautiful and the the trips were really good fun thanks to Shafiq. Kenneth at the bar was brilliant and so good with the kids and cocktails!! The Wi-Fi was horrific though so don’t plan on doing any work whilst you’re there, we never had it in the room at any time and only at the restaurant for short periods, Afnan the manager had to take us down the jetty and he let us use his own private phone at one point just to get a signal. They really tried to help whenever we had a problem with anything whether it was the Wi-Fi or the mosquitoes!! The main thing for the kids to do was the trips and playing in the pool which was so huge that they actually went paddle boarding in it every day. I highly recommend this resort if you want to be in a beautiful environment with incredible staff and fantastic food and get away from the crowds!!

풀빌라에 대한 리뷰가 드물어 걱정반으로 시작 가는 배편의 위치가 정확하게 안내되지 않아 힘듦 도착한 숙소는 친절한 직원들 덕에 마음편히 휴양을 할 수 있었음 넓은 객실과 프라이빗한 가든이 좋았고, 섬이라 일출과 일몰을 둘 다 감상할 수 있음. 식사는 끼니마다 충분한 양으로 제공되고, 알콜을 제외한 모든 음료는 리필이 가능. 비용을 고려한다면 더 나은 선택지도 있을 수 있겠지만 코타키나발루 에서는 가장 프라이빗한 풀빌라임. 친절한 직원들 칭찬합니다.

Das Resort ist sehr schön gelegen und großzügig angelegt. Es gibt 14 Villen, wir hatten eine Cral Villa gemietet. Die Villa war auf den ersten Blick wunderbar, sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Alle wesentlichen Ausstattungsmermale waren vorhanden (AC, Kühlschrank, 2 TV etc.). Erster Eindruck - toll. Es besteht ein vielfältiges Freizeitangebot, ein sehr großer Pool, Gym etc. Viele Angebote sind jedoch kostenpflichtig. Das Restaurant ist schlicht, aber stilvoll eingerichtet; die Lounge eher fade. Das Essen ist recht gut, aufgrund der gegebenen Situation individuell (s. u.). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Aber: - das Resort ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, vieles ist deutlich renovierungsbedürftig. Beispiel: die kleinen Fliesen des Pools sind dutzendfach herausgefallen, liegen zum Teil auf dem Beckengrund. In der Villa deutlicher Schimmel- und Rostbefall usw. (s. Bilder). Offenbar ist das erkannt, an vielen Stellen waren Renovierungsarbeiten in Gange. Größtes Problem war das Housekeeping. Die Toiletten wurden in Dreieinhalb Tagen nicht einmal gereinigt! Gleiches gilt für die Armaturen im Badezimmer. In der Gästetoilette gab es weder Seife noch Handtuch. Das nur beispielhaft für die Defizite. Da gibt es viel zu tun.
